IV. LEARNING PHASES AND LEARNING ACTIVITIES
I. Introduction (Time Frame: 5 minutes)

From capturing family memories to taking entire businesses online, more people are looking to start creating
videos. And this is undeniably a great time to do it. Most people have a capable camera already in their pocket.
Of course, capturing video is only one piece of the process. Learning how to edit a video is equally important.
Learning how to edit video can become a never-ending rabbit hole, with more options and approaches to
choose from.
Here are some tips on how to create your video.
1. Stabilize your shot – Remove all the shakes out of your video so that your audience can see your product clearly
without getting completely motion-sick. Using tripod attachments for your smartphone is very useful.
2. Find a setting that looks good – Finding the right setting to shoot your video is a quick, free and easy way to
make your promotional video looks good.
3. Add some light – Typically, smartphones are not good in low light conditions. Additional light must be put on.
Taking a shot near a window that supplies enough light coming in, or using a ring light.
4. Add some smooth movement to your shots – Adding smooth movements to your shots can help your audience
to see better and fully appreciate the product.
5. Show your product in action – The action shot of your product is priceless for making the audience feel confident
that your product is what they are looking for.
6. Only keep the best bit – Not every piece of shot that you capture will look good. Most of it will look terrible. So,
take some time and cut out all the parts and only keep the best shots.
