• Can you tell me a little bit about your background?

It’s great to finally meet you! First of all, thank you for allowing me to have an interview with
your company.
My name is Kieu My. I’m a senior student at Hoa Sen University, where I major in
English Language Studies.
- I intend to work in the language field, and your company is one of the companies related
to my major.
- I’ve been working for the last two years at ABC Company at position of intern, I´ve
learned a lot within a short period of time because I´ve taken on many roles and responsibilities
within the company.
• Can you tell me about your strengths?
Well, I´m a great team player and have a strong attention to detail. I´d have to say my strongest
trait is my communication skills because I’m a good listener.
• What about your weakness?
Because I’m pursuing perfection at work, so I always want to accomplish as much as possible
with the tasks I have received, it leads to maybe sometimes having trouble managing time. But
now, it gets better because I know I must prioritize what is important first.
• Can you tell me where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Firstly, with a short-term goal, as I receive this position, I intend to become a valuable employee
and contribute to the company's development with my talent.
Secondly, with a long-term goal, I expect to be an expert at my position. Furthermore, I can start
training to be a manager and make my career more special, which I can be proud of.
• So, how do you know about this job?
As I said before, I want to work in the language field, and your company is a leader in the
industry. It has been a goal of mine to work here, so it would be an honor for me to do so.
• Why do you want this job?
Your company is famous for its professional environment, where employees can be encouraged
to develop fully. This job brings me more challenges, which means more opportunities to gain
experience and further my career. Furthermore, this job mainly involves working in a foreign
working environment, which helps me improve and learn different skills.
• Why do you leave your current job?
I want to leave my current job to further my career and stabilize my income to cover my basic
needs, such as shelter and food. Moreover, I want to retrain in a different occupation so that I can
gain interesting experiences and deep knowledge while working in a foreign environment.
• Can you describe your dream job?
In my opinion, I believe a dream job is a job first that can fulfill my basic needs through a high
salary and stable income, also have a good pension and health insurance to make sure I can pay
full attention to my work, second an ideal job is a job which is a more challenge, more interest
chances to gain experience as well as learn a different skill in a dynamic and active environment.
Moreover, this is a job that has a clear career path, my leader and my colleagues are nice to each
other through each process of working as in company activities.
