Credentialled Community A recognised qualification in a credentialled community language 5


Language

Study in Regional Australia You must have at least 1 degree, diploma or trade qualification from an 5
Australian educational institution that satisfies the Australian study
requirement obtained while living and studying in an eligible area of regional
Australia

Partner Skills Your spouse or de facto partner must also be an applicant for this visa and 10
meet age, English and skill criteria as follows:

- Under 45;
- Has competent English;
- Has nominated a skilled occupation that is on the same skilled
occupation list as your nominated skilled occupation;
- Has a suitable skills assessment from relevant assessing authority for
their nominated skilled occupation, and the assessment was not for a
Subclass 485 visa.

Your spouse or de facto partner is an applicant for this visa and has 5
competent English

You are single or your partner is an Australian citizen or permanent resident 10

Nomination or Sponsorship You were invited to apply for a Skilled-Nominated visa (subclass 190) and the 5
nominating State or Territory government agency has not withdrawn the
nomination

You were invited to apply for a Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa 15
(subclass 491) and the nominating State or Territory government agency has
not withdrawn the nomination

Or

You are being sponsored for a subclass 491 by a family member and the
Minister has accepted that sponsorship
