How to compile your e-lesson course/class/lesson
E-Learning Class
Lesson objectives
• Preparing and organizing your lesson note
• Preparing your slide presentation
• Using active presenter for screen recording
• Uploading on Telegram
• Replying to comments and questions online
Organizing your lesson note
• The lesson will be written in your note book
• Typed in Microsoft office word
• Follow the following format
• Subject and topic
• Week One Lesson 1,2,3 & Week Two Lesson 1,2,3 etc
• Title and subtitle for the lesson
• Summary / Conclusion
• Questions / Home work
Preparing your slide presentation
• Start PowerPoint and save file appropriately
• Create New slides ( For all contents needed)
• Add slide transition for all slides or maintain default
• Add entrance animation for body of content, graphs, images etc.
• Complete, proofread/preview and save your presentation
• Get ready for using Active presenter
Using Active Presenter
• Ensure the lesson in PowerPoint is open
• Lunch or open active presenter
• From the dashboard click record video
• Make necessary settings and click REC
• Start your PowerPoint slide show and begin recording your lesson/class
• Stop recording when you are done, edit and save your file
• Convert all your recordings to video
Uploading on telegram
• Sign in to your telegram account (using your phone number)
• Locate the group for your class
• Communicate to the class and upload the video
• Add supporting text to ensure students are online during the time for class
• Replying to comments and questions online
• End the class for the next teacher at the appointed time
Replying to comments and questions
• Ensure you reply to comments during the class
• Encourage student’s participations
• Ask students to respond if they are online by entering their full name
