STUDENT TEACHER PRAYER

All the highest praise in the Name of the Lord!

Loving Father, we stand before You in the midst of

confusion and complexities of life. Our future sometimes
seems distant and unknown. We praise You for this life You
have given us. Thank you for all the guidance, protection,
and the overflowing blessings we are receiving from You.
Father, we are truly blessed to be given this opportunity to
learn and share something new.

Father, we are humbly asking for your forgiveness of our

sins. We are ready for the repentance and acceptance, oh
Lord.

Guide these students as they are about to learn something

new. Let them apply the good things and let them be guided
with Your way.

Give us, oh Lord, the vision to see the path You set before
us. Grant us the courage to follow Your way, that through
the gifts and talents You have given us, we may bring Your
life and Your love to others.

You really are the God of all gods and the Kings of all kings.

We are praying this, in Your Most Holy Son, Jesus Christ.

Amen.

STUDENT TEACHER’S CREDO

There are many qualities that I believe a teacher should possess. In order to create
the most appropriate and safe learning environment for all my students, I must gain
their trust. The way in which I would start to build the foundation of the relationships is
to show that I value all of them and their learning. I believe that it is very important
that I provide the students with the adequate respect and trust that I expect them to
provide me.
Learning is a fundamental and ongoing process that every child and adult
experiences throughout their life. It is essential that I respect and consider all my
students’ ways of learning in order for them to have a positive experience for the
child, the more they will take out of the situation and value their own learning process.
To help ensure that I am providing my students with the best education I possibly
can, I will continue my own learning. My own learning will never cease, as I will
always be constantly learning new ways to make my classroom a better learning
environment and to expand my own educational background. I will be reflective of my
own pedagogy, so I can modify and adapt different teaching tactics for the benefit of
all my students. As a future educator and as a student it is important to give respect
and perfection to your work. Becoming a teacher is not easy at all, it needs more time
and more effort to succeed in this teaching career. As an educator or as a future
educator it is important to have our credo in outreaching career.
Teaching is not easy at all because you need to set your goals in order to succeed as
a teacher and as an educator. We all know that teachers are the second parent of the
students and because of that we need to guide them and nurture their minds and
teach them for them to have knowledge and be ready to the future. As a future
educator I need to set my credo. My goal as a teacher is to instill the will of learning
and confidence in each of them. I strongly believe that every child has the ability to
learn no matter what and it is my obligation as a teacher, to find the best suitable
method of learning that benefits each student. My goal is to be as diverse and inviting
to all possibilities in the classroom learning environment as well as being aware of all
social justice issues. I am strong supporter and believer in the idea that students
learn by doing. This way of implementing concepts to the students will be a major
factor that will shape my teaching. I hope to help each student find their strengths and
to build on them as well as encourage them to work on their weaknesses. I need to
be very attentive and aware of all my students’ needs in order to provide them all with
the opportunity for success. I realize that being a professional teacher or to be
professional you need to motivate yourself and build a strong relationship to your
student. And I believe that it is very important that I provide the students with the
adequate respect and trust that I expect them to provide me.

Brief description of the site of practice teaching.

In-campus practice teaching is one of the requirements at the

Technological University of the Philippines. It is where you need to
accomplish 120 hours of observing under your cooperating teacher. In
here, you will grow and experience things that will give you knowledge
and enhance your skills.
DAY 1

First Monday of the month for the 2nd semester. Everyone is in the
class at exactly 7 am in the morning and we are complimented by our adviser
Prof. Rey Pasia.

The flag ceremony is one of the routines of the university every

Monday and today as 2nd semester starts, the faculties lead the said
ceremony from the prayer to singing of national anthem up to singing of TUP
Hymn. It is a fresh start for everyone since last semester was tough for all of
us but then we are still here to continue what we started. That morning, we
had a short meeting regarding the out-campus- practice teaching and we
elected new set of officers. I vote wisely and for those who can really be a
leader that can guide all of us throughout the semester. After that, we are
assigned to different professors to help them clean their classrooms and the
area that needs to be cleaned. After the tiring day, we are dismissed by Prof.
Pasia.
DAY 2

The next day we are still scheduled at 7am in the morning. Prof. Pasia
is a bit busy because of the inauguration and turnover but still he managed to
meet us and discussed the requirements needed to submit by this coming
Friday.

After the meeting he also announced the inauguration and what would
happen that day. He also gave instructions for our monoblocs that we should
handle it with care since it is our project and can be used by the next
generations. We start to align our chairs and seats for us to be comfortable
while listening to the program. After the said program, there is also packed
lunch for all of us since this Saturday is also the birthday of the owner of the
land of TUP which is Mr. Romulo Cuevas. We are also having orientation from
Dr. Guevarra about the dos and don’ts during out OPT. All of us are paying
attention until the end of the short orientation. We waited for minutes before
Prof. Pasia decided to dismiss the class and kept reminding us of the
requirements needed since they decided that we will just go back to Friday for
our requirements.
DAY 3

Since most of us still didn’t have the medical certificate, Prof. Pasia
decided to meet us today but unfortunately, he can’t join us at our meeting
because of important matters regarding our OPT. This morning our president,
Sir Custodio lead the meeting and his other co-officers. They discussed with
us the plan for our pinning ceremony, they also prepared ppt presentation to
clearly discuss the catering services that we can avail and having may options
to consider is a good choice. The final date is not yet finalized but it is better
to plan so that we can just make it happen anytime. The officers made plan A
up to plan D and they discussed all of it one by one. We came up to Plan B
and D, which included Mr. Julius Nitro as the catering services and since we
don’t have final date, we decided to have two options for the venue: in the
school or in Cuenca Municipal Court. The cost for each student will be 300
pesos and the meal is just for the students not included the parents since it is
not finalize. The meeting went well and some of the students gave their
opinions and suggestions regarding the said agenda.

DAY 4
For today’s agenda, we have the final date and there is a big change
to our plans, but it is good that we still have one last time so that we don’t
need to back to zero. The final date will be February 23, 2024, and it is this
coming Friday, and the changes is there will be a parent included in each
student, so we need to double the food since last time it is just for the student.
Also, the venue will be in the school, and we had a plan for it last time but
when Prof. Pasia got the floor, he informed us that it will be just us for the
pinning ceremony to lessen the total costs. After we that agenda, Prof. Pasia
announced the schools that we belong for the deployment, and I am assigned
in Fermin La Rosa National High School together with Ma’am Reyes, Ma’am
Javier, Ma’am Sandoval, Ma’am Lopez and Sir Cañete then after the
announcement he told us the dos and don’ts. He also gave some advice for
us, and the meeting was adjourned for us to take care of our affidavit of

undertaking that need to be notarized.

DAY 5
As of today, we need to pass our requirements and at the same time we
also need to pass the printed copy of our affidavit of undertaking to be
notarized. Ma’am Reyes, Ma’am Lacuesta and Ma’am Harina are assigned to
go to a law firm to notarize our affidavits. Also, our president announced the
final distribution of costs to our pinning ceremony, and we paid it to our
treasurer since he already told us the amount that we need to bring. He also
met us for what we still need to do and announced that only the officers will
come back tomorrow to start the decoration on the multi-purpose hall where
the event will be conducted and then the meeting is adjourned.

DAY 6
The day before our much-awaited pinning ceremony, we are assigned
to clean the multi-purpose hall that will serve as our venue. After that Prof.
Pasia gathered us and asked us what is still needed to our event and is there
any problem that still to resolve. He also told us what we still need to improve,
taught us how we will position our pins and then we start to move and make
our venue better. We put the tarpaulin that gives life to the background we
have and, HE students take care of the table that we will used for the guests
tomorrow. Manpower also and other boys prepare the sound speakers as our
sound system. After the final preparation, of course we also prepare
ourselves. We do final practice of what we should and shouldn’t do during the
pinning ceremony. It was a tiring day, yet it was a productive one.

DAY 7
Everyone was busy preparing themselves when I got to school. They
are putting some make up like eyeshadows, blush on and lipstick. The time
indicated for the sending off mass is 7:30 am but it started around 8:30 am or
9 am. As we go along the mass, I keep myself listening to the homily and
focus on the event itself. We have our offers from each school where we are
assigned that is already prepared yesterday. After the mass, we take a break I
thought it would be short but since the guest from manila is just commute the
time in the program flow have changed. We start the main event before 1 pm,
I am a bit nervous and excited at the same time. Doctor Guevarra and Prof.
Pasia have their speech and opening remarks then President Portez also
gave his message to us through MS Teams since he can’t make it due to
important reasons. When our names are started to call, I am smiling widely
and clapping for everyone that we have done this far and when it’s my turn, I
feel my hand shaking a bit but also overwhelm on the event. After the pinning
we do our pledge and sign the tarpaulin as remembrance then we eat our
snacks while chitchatting. We also do not forget to take pictures and then start
to clean up again. Prof. Pasia met us after the event to congratulate us on the
success of the event and he also gave short announcements then he
adjourned the meeting.

DAY 8
It is Monday today and we have another day spent at school. As usual
every Monday we do flag ceremony up to TUP Hymn then we are gathered
today for the presentation of the liquidation report of last Friday’s event which
is the pinning ceremony. Ma’am Calingasan and Ma’am Lacuesta discussed
everything since they are the auditors in charge. They also have the proof and
break downs of everything concerning to the total costs of contribution and the
emergency fund that we have for the pinning ceremony. We gave 2 pesos
and an A4 size bod paper to our treasurer Ma’am Harina for our COR. Also,
Prof. Pasia checked our requirements and our pants to see if it is fitted then if
it is you will be remark or standby until you fixed everything needed from you.
Going back to the liquidation report, everything is well explained that no one
has questions to asked since it is clear to everyone.

DAY 9
All of us are gathered today as there was an update about our
deployment. As said last time, today is the target day that we will deploy but
unfortunately Prof. Pasia has bad news for us. Some signatures from
directors of each school still needed to be submitted that’s why we still need
to wait until everything is okay and while waiting for it, Prof. Pasia, and Dr.
Guevarra agreed to deploy us first inside TUP-Batangas. We are assigned to
different professors as our cooperating teacher for one or two weeks. I am
assigned to Prof. Gahum and he immediately gave us a task. Some of my co-
ST under Prof. Gahum is assigned to guide the students from their activity
while I am assigned to encoding of attendance with the help of ma’am Uri.
After that we take our lunch, and I am assigned to another task which is
distribution of COR and then we do simultaneous task which is some of the
students will do their resume while some are having their typing test and
some of them are with Prof. Gahum to check their lesson plan. Today is so full
and productive and that’s how it goes.

DAY 10
We have a 7am class today under the supervision of Prof. Gahum
which is the 2nd year ICT. They are still somehow confused about the
database so Prof. Gahum reviewed and asked questions to help the students
to remember. After that they work again with the database they made in a
whole sheet of yellow paper. As I observed, most of their mistakes are the
wrong input categorization and they revise it again then encode it to the
access. Also, some students have difficulties in terms of making their
objectives and they asked our opinions and suggestions for it and that’s how
the first class goes. After that we take our lunch as we have an 11 am class to
1st year IA. We are instructed to have the daily routine then after that we
divided their resume ad check it by calling them one by one and telling them
what they need to improve, while we check their resume some of them make
the 2nd type of resume which is with design. All of them work with their
activities until it’s time and we make sure that they clean their areas before we
leave.

DAY 11
I came to school early today to have an evaluation for our scholarship,
but our duty is 2:30-5:30 in the afternoon so we need to wait until that specific
time. We handled the IA 2nd this afternoon for their TTL 2 under Prof. Gahum
and he instructed us that there will be reporters for today and we need to
guide them throughout their reporting. During their discussion, I observed that
they skipped a lot based on the book as the reference, they also didn’t tackle
the 4 types of lesson plan that we expect to hear since Prof. Gahum informed
us that we can butt in if they can’t explain well the types of lesson plan. The
reporters didn’t tackle the lesson plan, so Prof. Gahum let us discuss it since
we made our own lesson plan such as DLL, Semi-detailed and 4A’s. I am
somehow nervous at first, but I tried my very best to discuss it clearly with the
help of my co-ST and Prof. Gahum and that’s how my day goes by.

DAY 12
Today was a very exhausting day. We have a whole day schedule from
7am to 5:30 pm. I am not also used to be this tired because unlike to Prof.
Cumahig that he has laboratory subjects, so I just sit in one side and observe
the students how they do their performance task until it done, in Prof. Gahum,
he handled three subjects, and it is a bit tiring to explain lesson plan twice a
day in front of the students. Also, I felt overwhelmed since I saw how I
become more confident in front of the class while discussing and it is an
achievement for me. The first and second class that we handle are same
students, but different subject and they are both have reporters for today. I am
a bit amazed on how the students present with the creative instructional
materials that they made. On the other hand, the classroom is filled with
laughter and joy on the last class for today which is the HE second year, from
the way she presents and delivers the discussion and herself makes the class
to enjoy the discussion and that’s how the day ends.

DAY 13
Today, as per Prof. Gahum instruction, we set up the computers and
make sure that it functions well so that the students can use it. Also, he
instructs the students to group themselves according to the computers and
laptops they have then they need to make a database but since there are two
in the group, they just need to use one so they need to decide which from
them they will use. As the whole class starts to work on their own and some
consult Prof. Gahum, little by little somehow, I get to know what they are
doing since we didn’t take that subject when we are 2 nd year. In the afternoon,
we have our last class which is the IA first year and just like yesterday they
still working with their modern resume then they have the lesson plan and
powerpoint but in the middle of the class Prof. Gahum excuse me and ma’am
Lorca to help him in recording and in assisting of students because he has
something important to do. It is a bit tiring today but still a productive one.

DAY 14

Same as yesterday, the students of ICT second year will continue their
group activity which is database with four different normalization and one
output. We also helped them set up the computers but unfortunately three of
them is unable to use since two of them is no display and one of them didn’t
have the access app that they need for their activity. In the afternoon Prof.
Gahum is not around and we are assigned to guide them with their lesson
plan and PowerPoints. All of them are done with their two resumes, some of
them still working with their lesson plan and the others are on their
PowerPoints and that’s when I realize how tiring it was to be a hands-on
teacher. We are five student teachers in the room and the students are just
around 20’s but still we had a tiring 3 hours because most of the students’
asked questions, suggestions or they needed some help. As a student
teacher, we need to respond to every student but still I’m happy to help them
and somehow, I got this idea to be prepared when we deployed to our
designated schools because it is way different than what we do right now.

DAY 15
We are gathered today by Prof. Gahum for some announcement and of
course he asked us how it was going during our duty to the students. Also, he
informed us about what we may encounter outside the campus. After that he
gave us instructions to make a lesson plan specifically semi-detailed and 4A’s
with specific topics in programming then during his first class he let us make
our lesson plan and he manage the whole class for three hours. For the
second class 11:00am-2:00pm, first year IA is still on going with their
PowerPoints and I think that they take it slowly since they are not that good in
typing ad using PowerPoint as I observed but it consumes time since they are
working it in 3 consecutive days. I also bring my laptop for them to use it and
to be productive in their three-hour class.

DAY 16

Today, our class is still at 2:30pm but Prof. Pasia had an emergency
meeting, and we need to attend to it but unfortunately, I am in the middle of
having my dental checkup, so I just inform our secretary ma’am Laya and
Prof. Pasia that I’m going to be late for the meeting. After the meeting we are
instructed to check the students’ objectives and sign it first before they
proceed to the content of the lesson plan. It is just three hours but since most
of the students come to us and ask for some help ad suggestions, it is a bit
tired, and our brains are bit drained since the others have major revisions and
came to us to ask some help. In the middle of checking their lesson plan Prof.
Gahum came in and I’m a bit happy since the students still asked us even
though Prof. Gahum is in front.

DAY 17

On the first day of this week and we do the school’s daily routine which
is the flag ceremony and some announcements then we go to our first class
which is ICT second year that will also our students in second class. The first
session with them is all about making a semi-detailed lesson plan with a twist,
they need to make a handwritten of it using cursive writing. On the other hand,
the second session is full of knowledge, and I admit that I enjoy the reporting
since my curiosity makes me explore and think how things work in database
specifically in Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). The last class for today is
the HE second year and it is mind draining since they make a semi-detailed
lesson plan that we need to check the objectives first one by one. To be
honest we observed each major and so far, this section is the fastest one and
they didn’t need major revisions when it comes to their objectives. After the
whole day’s duty, we make sure that the students clean the room and then we
go home.

DAY 18

As of today March 12, 2024, is our 18 th day in OPT. Early in the

morning the students were all in the hallway and waiting for their classroom to
be open and Prof. Gahum decided that we should use the multi-purpose hall
for the meantime and start the daily routine. As he instructs us, we will have
attendance then the last 2 groups of reporters will have their evaluation. After
that, Prof. Gahum informed the ICT second year that there will be a recitation
that will serve as their review for the upcoming preliminary exam, and they are
given 5 minutes to review and prepare themselves from answering the
recitation. It was fun since we also refreshed our knowledge, and we also
made a guess on each question. All the students are given a chance to
answer and then they start doing their activity. On the other hand, for the
second class, they are still working with their PowerPoints, and they need to
make it in three different ways. I am a bit happy looking at those students
taking it seriously and trying even though they type slowly at least there is still
progress. Some of them are halfway through and some are done when the
class is dismissed.

DAY 19

I came to school early and got my DTR signed by Prof. Pasia then I
went straight to our first class. For instruction, we do the daily routine then
instruct the students to continue their Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) and
if they are done to it there is another activity related to ERD. The time runs
fast and most of the students are done so they are dismissed early. The IA
first year is our second class and Prof. Gahum discussed all about Microsoft
excel. Some students have their laptops and PCs with them so they can
follow the discussion. Also, I observed that most of them are having a hard
time following Prof. Gahum so I assist them and make sure that they still
learn. Before the day ended, Prof. Pasia had an emergency meeting with all
the student teachers about the deployment, he explained everything to us and
make sure that it is clear to everyone before he dismissed the meeting.

DAY 20

We have 2 classes today which are the ICT second year and IA first
year. The class starts at 7am in the morning therefore I arrived at school 15
minutes before, and we are advised today that there will be no students in the
morning which is the ICT. At first, we thought that we would just wait until our
second class, but Prof. Gahum gave us paperwork like checking their
activities and recording it in their index card and then we just took our lunch.
In the afternoon, since Prof. Gahum discussed Microsoft excel yesterday and
he gave some activity to the students, today, the students need to encode the
data they made. Since we had a meeting yesterday around 1pm, we didn’t
know that they need to make a form and then they will input their budgetary of
April. We expect that they just encode it then the data analysis and the brief
summary of the data analysis. I also apologize to those students that I thought
the wrong way and after that I just observe how the form works and
everything before deciding to guide the students in the right way.

DAY 21

Our class schedule today is 2:30-5:30pm which is the IA second year.

Everyone, especially the reporters, prepared themselves while waiting for
Prof. Gahum because all the faculties have meeting in that afternoon. Right
after the meeting we are advised to start the reporting even though Prof.
Gahum is still not around. The reporting for this afternoon went well as they
have improvements in how they discussed and carry themselves in front.
Also, they explained their topic well, but some reporters get confused on their
topic itself still they finished the discussion well. The students are assigned to
make an activity about the given discussion earlier, they are grouped by the
reporter and start doing the activity until the end of time. Prof. Gahum called
the cleaners and signed our DTR.

DAY 22

As of today, ICT second year have their second reporting about Inquiry
Based Learning and Research Based Learning. At the end of the report, the
students have an activity regarding their topic, and they are group into five
and since we are five student teachers, each of them has one to guide them.
The second class is still the ICT second year but a different subject. They are
assigned to clean the bookshelf and organize them according to their
classification. Also, they will use each book for their database activity. Prof.
Gahum just assigned another task to us which is checking of semi detailed
lesson plan of the students and recording it. After that we have our lunch and
go to our last class which is the HE second year. They have the same
reporting as the ICT second year and therefore we have some ideas about
the topic to be discussed. Prof. Gahum let me discuss the KWL table that is
related to the IBL or inquiry-based learning. Also, they did the same activity as
the ICT do and pass it on time.

DAY 23

All the student teachers are required to be in school today because of

picture taking and we have meeting with Prof. Pasia. After the picture taking, I
go straight to my duty this morning since there are changes in our set-up and I
am assigned today to be the prompt student teacher. ICT second year
continue doing their activity yesterday which is the database therefore I am
standby there if ever they have questions or clarifications. I was a little bit tired
when the second class came which is the IA first year. They also continued
their activity yesterday which is the excel and being a hands-on student
teacher is not that easy. Most of the students have questions and are
somehow confused so I need to help them one by one. It is a tiring one but
still I’m happy that with every student having problems with their activity, I can
solve in through observing and exploring in excel and I think that they also
learn from me.

DAY 24

Today, second year ICT are still gathering their data through organizing
books in bookshelf at the same time to sort it according to their classification.
It is much better than yesterday since yesterday was so messy and dusk is
everywhere. Same goes for the IA first year, they are still working with their
budgetary for the month of April, but they need to finish it and gave the last
hour for Sir Marquez to discuss the table of specification for DepEd. It is
somehow confusing but if you focus yourself on the discussion, it will be
easier for you to do it. After the short discussion, everyone is busy with their
own TOS until the end of the session.
DAY 25

For Day 25 of being an official student teacher, some students of ICT

second year are still gathering data from the books, and some are done with

their part. Also, there are new books from Municipal of Cuenca and display it I

the library. We help with checking the number of books and sort some books.

After that we have our lunch and go to our second class which is the IA first

year. Yesterday Sir Marquez discussed about the TOS, today, the students

need to continue their activity and once they are done, they can do other

stuffs in other subjects.

DAY 26

Today is the last day of the week and it is just an exam day for IA
second year. Our class schedule is 2:30-5:30 and I arrive at school a little bit
early. Once we got the instruction from Prof. Gahum, we started to facilitate
the classroom for their sitting arrangements, and I decided to pick their sits
since they somehow didn’t listen to my instructions. They are given 1 hour
and 30 minutes to have a review and once the exam starts, they need to keep
all their notes. Throughout the examination, even though we are five in the
room to watch them, I know them already so I keep my eyes to those students
that I think will try to cheat. After the exam, we also checked it by ourselves,
the student teachers. Once we are done checking and recording, we
announce it to the class and make sure that the classroom is clean before we
dismissed them.

DAY 27
It’s Monday today and it is exam day today. All the students that we
manage today have an hour to review and then take the exam. The first one is
the ICT second year, and they are taking the exam in TTL. As I observed,
most of the questions are situational and I admit, I am also a bit confused
because all the choice is correct but there is a best answer for the questions.
After the exam, they also take an exam in programming and most of the
questions are asked during the recitation as their review. The last students to
take the exam is the HE second year for their TTL. They are focused on
answering the exam but few of them are caught cheating, so I decided to
simply go beside them as a warning. The day was just like that then we make
sure that the student cleans up the area.

DAY 28
As of today, I am assigned to discuss Microsoft Publisher, its parts, and
functions and how it is use in making a brochure. In the morning our class is
the second year ICT and as per Prof. Gahum instruction, they just continue
their data gathering and if they are done, they proceed in their normalization.
After that some of the students have adjustments with their books and some
of them start their normalization. They are just like that until the end of the first
subject the in the afternoon, I have my discussion and I am somehow still
nervous because of the pressure that Prof. Gahum give through his presence
but after the discussion, I am happy that most of the students focus their eyes
and ears on me. Also, I saw my improvements through the comments and
suggestions Prof. Gahum gave and it is enough for me to have a smile on my
face throughout the second session until the end of the time.

DAY 29
After a long weekend, today is the first day of April and the students of
ICT second year have their report about problem based and project-based
learning. As per sir Gahum instruction, we will manage the students on our
own, but he will still be at the back to practice us. Therefore, during the
reporting I butt in to the students to explain or clarify some things that aren’t
clear when sir Gahum enter the classroom. I am somehow nervous but the
eagerness to practice myself to manage students on my own is my goal, so I
just imagine that I am the only teacher in the class and continue to my
discussion. On the other hand, students of ICT also have reporting in
programming same goes with the last schedule for today which is the HE
second year and managed by ma’am Uri.

DAY 30
As of today, ma’am Ona is the front student teacher in programming
and Prof. Gahum gave a task to me and ma’am Uri which is to take care of
the things and papers needed for the exam of IA first year. Sir Custodio help
us to print, and he also explain to us what we are going to do. After that, I also
take care of the files needed for the examination, so I ate lunch a bit late and
as I finish my lunch, I go to my students as I am their front student teacher. I
let them pick from the rolled papers that I have that contains the exam that
they will take. Also, I gave the files they needed to accomplish their exam.
After the examination, I collected their files and make sure that everyone
passed their files before I handed it to Prof. Gahum.

DAY 31
Today, Prof. Gahum is not around as he informed us that he will be in
Manila for 2 days, but he assigned a task to me which is the accomplishment
report. He also informed the student teacher in charge today of the tasks to be
done by the students. The second year ICT continues their activity about their
database normalization until the end of the time while the second class, which
is the IA first year continue working with their brochure. Some of them are
done with it and some are still editing their brochure and sir Marquez allowed
them to do other things not related to the subject and that’s how the day ends.

DAY 32
Prof. Gahum is not around again today, and I am the front in this
morning to the ICT second year. We did not bother to ask Prof. Gahum what
the students need to do since he said it before going to Manila. The students
just continue working with their activities and we are just around the corner to
observe everyone and to accommodate them if they have questions or
clarifications. On the other hand, the second class, which is the IA first year, is
now printing their advertisement brochures. We call them one by one to teach
them how to use a printer and to check if their work is okay for printing. The
whole three hours are spent teaching them how to print their brochures and
after that we make sure that all students print their brochures, and we place it
on the table Prof. Gahum.

DAY 33
Today, we only have one class which is the IA second year. One of
them is assigned to discuss problem based and project-based learning. As we
went along with the reporters’ discussion, we tried to butt in for those slide
decks that we think didn’t explain well and gave some examples for them to
understand it easily. After that, Prof. Gahum also has questions for the
reporter and for the whole class that they need to answer. After the Q and A
portion, the activity was given to everyone, and we need to guide them for
their questions and clarifications. Before the day ends, we make sure that
they clean the classroom for the next class.

DAY 35 (April 6, 2024)

We do not have class today, but we have an emergency meeting with
Prof. Pasia and our agenda is all about the endorsement letter. Changes may
occur due to some typo error in our endorsement letter and the ones who are
most affected are those student teachers that are already deployed in other
schools. To solve this, all the student teachers will be pulled out from the
school where they are deployed and then by next week, they need to report
again here in TUP to know their CT. After the meeting, we are assigned to
clean our room and then I informed our president before I go home.

DAY 36 (April 8, 2024)

I have my discussion today and I am a bit late for our 15 minutes
before the class rule but still I manage to make a discussion early in the
morning. As I go along through my discussion, I notice that my students are
sleepy and to make them alive I try my motivation to them and still they are
sleepy, so my last choice is to make my discussion alive. I try to catch their
attention by calling them one by one and read the slide ad then their opinion.
After the long discussion, I gave their activity and guide them until the end of
time. After that, Sir Marquez also have a discussion in programming same
goes to ma’am Uri and that’s how my day goes.

DAY 37 (April 11, 2024)

I am the front st today and as per Sir Gahum instruction, the students
of ICT second year need to continue working with their papers and if there are
questions and clarifications, we are here to guide them. On the other hand,
the students of first year IA, have a discussion with Prof. Gahum on how to
add a signature in Microsoft outlook and its purpose and advantages. After
that, an activity is given to them until the end of time.

DAY 38 (April 15, 2024)

Today is the day that all student teachers deployed came back in TUP.
Also, early this morning we have a meeting with Prof. Pasia which is all about
our final CT and of course some reminders for us when it comes in coming of
school 15 minutes before the time etc. After the meeting, me and my co-st
under Prof. Gahum report to him that we stayed for him until our final demo
and then we came back to the next class which is the second year ICT, and
they have their reporting about SQL advanced. As we go along deeper to the
discussion, I also learn from the students and that is one of the advantages of
being a teacher, you can give, and you can receive learnings from each other.

DAY 39 (April 16, 2024)

As of today, 16th of April, we have two classes, and the first one is the
ICT second year, and they need to continue their papers and finalize the
arrangement of the books and the printed label of each one. All of them are
busy to their activity and papers until the end of time. After that, I have an
impromptu discussion about basic principle of design, and I think I make a
justice or explained it well as sir Gahum just add some details. After the
discussion, I gave them activity and they start doing it and then Prof. Gahum
discuss about photo editing. He also, gave an instruction for their activity that
is needed to do in ICT essentials time.

DAY 40 (April 17, 2024)

The front student teacher today is Sir Marquez, and he is assigned to
give an activity to the ICT 2 nd year about database. No phones or any gadgets
are allowed but some students are still doing it, so I just collect all their
phones to avoid them from cheating. On the other hand, the second class
start doing their design using their illustrations and art materials they have for
their activity. We observe how they are creative in doing their designs, they
finished it before the time. Our classes are ended but we have to check the
activity a while ago while waiting for the time. Most of the students get low
grades that’s why they need to take their remedial exam.

DAY 41 (April 18, 2024)

Yesterday, ICT second year have a activity that is made by prof.
Gahum and now they have another activity made by sir Marquez but I am the
one to deliver the instructions since I am the front student teacher. Same goes
as yesterday, I collect all their phones before their activity and then I distribute
it randomly since each paper are different to one another. After the activity we
recheck their activity yesterday and explained how it ended like that. On the
other hand, I am a bit tired on the IA first year because I am the one to print
their pictures but some of them are still needed to edit in a MS word and that’s
how the whole 3 hours end. Before we leave, we check the activity of those
absent yesterday.

DAY 42 (April 19, 2024)

Today is Friday and since we only have one class in the afternoon, we
decided to check some papers of the students in the morning. Also, I record it
to their perspective index card. When the afternoon came at exactly 2:30 pm,
we just do the daily routine before we gave their activity. The students make
their own businesses doing their 4As lesson plan and some of them approach
us to help them in their motivation and in their rubrics. The students suddenly
raised their voice as they make noises and I stand up because they just
ignored when I warned them, and I become a little strict for them to know that
I am serious while scolding them. I just make some reminders and then I
called the cleaners to clean the classroom ad dismissed them.

DAY 43 (April 22, 2024)

It is Monday and I have my demonstration today. Sir Marquez and I
switch, he will manage the TTL while I will handle the programming. First, in
TTL the students make a learning plan out of the curriculum guide under their
major and then it will be by pair to be submitted until next week. They are still
our students in programming, and I prepare my Ims and of course myself
since Prof. Gahum will critique me. The discussion went smoothly, and I
explained the codes well. After that we still have last class in, HE second year
and same goes to the TTL in the morning, the students make a learning plan
based on the curriculum guide of their major and we guide them throughout
their activity and that’s how our day goes.

DAY 44 (April 23, 2024)

As of today, ICT second year is currently working again with their books. They are
sorting and listing the names of each book that they need for their database. On the
other hand, our second class is the IA first year and I am discussing all about video
editing but more focused on the features of capcut editor. After the discussion, they
are given their performance task for their midterm exam which is an educational
video about TUP Batangas. They start discussing to their groupmates and they only
have two groups then we dismissed them, and I start to check the 4As lesson plan of
second year ICT before I decided to go home.

DAY 45 (April 24, 2024)

The students of ICT second year are now working on their bookshelves
by putting name codes on it while the others are working with their papers.
The second class which is the IA first year, plan their photoshoot for today
and start the scenes that they need to take here in school. I am assigned to
the group of Mr. Marquez while Sir Marquez is assigned to the group of Mr.
Linang. We are with them and guide them throughout their photoshoot that
day until the end of time before we decided to dismiss them.

DAY 45 (April 25, 2024)

As of today, April 25, the second year ICT are not required to go to
school today but they need to make sure that they have progress in their
papers about database but there are still few students that decided to do the
task in the com lab. Our next class is the IA first year and they are still working
with their educational video, but the setting of the shoot today is in the house
of Carlito. I am a bit surprised since I didn’t bring an extra money, so I got
short but luckily, one of my co-st lend me money that’s why I got home safely.

DAY 46 (April 26, 2024)

Today is last day of weekdays and we are having an asynchronous
class for IA second year. Since ma’am Ona is the front for TTL of the IA
students, she gave an instruction on what they need to accomplish throughout
the three hours. Also, that day I decided to check the activities of the students
and the progress of each activity then I wrote their scores one by one
because I didn’t bring the index card with me in our home.

DAY 47 (April 27, 2024)

We have a meeting today and the main agenda is for our thesis. We
addressed some issues, most especially when it comes to money and ma’am
Lunar is one of the important people today since she will give us the
breakdowns of the money that we gave to her. Also, all the questions and the
clarifications that we need to make things clear for all of us. After that, there
are also few announcements made by Prof. Pasi and then the meeting
adjourned.

DAY 48 (April 30, 2024)

Same as the last time, the students of ICT second year is not required
to go to school but still some of them decided to make their papers in the com
lab. On the other hand, the students of IA first year spent their three hours for
shooting of the unfinished scenes but this time the setting is just in the school.
After three hours we make sure that the classroom is clean before we
dismissed them then we just check the examination of second year ICT in
programming, and we are good to go.
