WebAccess Product Activation Guide

When you buy WebAccess Software, you will receive a USB dongle, as shown in
Picture 1.

WebAccess is authorized by the dongle and the control file being used together.
However, the control file is not included in the USB Disk, it is saved on the
WebAccess License Files Server. Customers should download the control file by
using the Serial Number on the front of the dongle, as shown in Picture 1.
Each control file only applies to the corresponding dongle.
If you lose the control file, you can download it again from the website.

 Step by Step Instructions:


Step 1: Make sure your computer is online and login to
http://support.advantech.com.tw/WebAccess/LogintoBZ.aspx

Step 2: After signing in, enter your Serial Number, and click “Search”. The
system will then provide the download link for your control file, as shown in
Picture 3.

Step 3: Download the zip file, unzip it, copy the bwkserv.exe file into the
\WebAccess\node folder and restart the computer to activate Advantech
WebAccess.

Step 4: Open the ViewDAQ enter point info, check a system tag
“%TSERIALNUM”, if registered successfully, it will show the Serial Number.
