Hi everyone,

Last summer, I spent one week in Paris. Well, I had a great time. I did quite a lot of
sightseeing in the first few days – the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, and all the usual tourist
attractions. Most places were absolutely packed with tourists. On the third day, I decided
to explore one or two shopping areas and I bought many lovely souvenirs. I got lost on
my way back to the hotel, but it didn’t matter because I discovered a really fascinating
street market selling just about everything from apples to antiques.
The best part of the trip was about food. I ate in the hotel the first night but then I went
out for dinner – the restaurants were great and I could get a set meal for €20.

I hope you’re all well. I’ll write again in a few days.

All the best,
John
