Medical and Health Recruitment Board, Assam invites online application in the website

Constitution of India having requisite qualification as per norms of National Commission for Indian System of
Medicine (NCISM) from recognized institutions in respective subjects for recruitment to the 101 (one hundred one)
vacant posts of Medical Officer (Ayur) under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. of Assam as indicated
below:-

ii. Scale of Pay: Rs. 30,000/- - 1,10,000 + Grade Pay Rs. 12,700/-.

iii. Age: A candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2023 as per
Govt. Notification AAP.115/72/Pt.I/194 dated 10/03/2008. The upper age limit is relaxable for the
candidates of reserved categories as per existing provision.
iv. Education Qualification:
a. Essential Qualification: A Bachelor Degree in Ayurveda from a University or its equivalent as
recognized by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine under the act.
b. Requirement: A valid registration with the Assam State Council of Indian Medicine or a valid Central or
National Registration Certificate issued by Central Council of Indian Medicine or National Commission
for Indian System of Medicine.
NB:
A. The number of vacancies is likely to increase in due course of time which will be intimated before the date
of examination/interview.
v. Process of Recruitment: The selection procedure will be notified later on by issuing addendum. The Board
will decide the procedure for selection in respect of the posts on the basis of the number of applications
received.
vi. Application fees: Application must be accompanied with required application fee of Rs. 250/- (rupees two
hundred fifty) only for General category candidates and Rs. 150/- (rupees one hundred fifty) only for
OBC/MOBC/SC/ST (P)/ST (H) candidate. No application fee is required for candidates having PWD
certificate. Application fee may be deposited, through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account “0210-
Medical and Public Health-01-Urban Health Services-800-Other Receipt”.

Fees can be deposited online using Government Receipt Accounting System-GRAS (Website:
https://assamegras.gov.in). Candidates may pay the requisites fees (as admissible for the category
mentioned above). Printed copy of Treasury Challan generated through GRAS should be submitted at the
time of interview. In Remarks column, candidate may write the post applied for.

The fees are not refundable and no other mode of deposit of fee shall be accepted.
vii. Process to Apply:

b) Candidates must use their mobile number and password to login.
c) After that, candidates can fill up the form for that given post.
d) Once you have submitted the form, no further changes will be applicable.
viii. Terms and Conditions:
i. Candidates need not submit any testimonials/certificate at the time of submission of online application.
However, candidates have to produce their original testimonials regarding educational qualification,
date of birth, caste, PWD, Treasury challan, working experience etc. along with the application form, at
the time of interview. Self-attested copies of all testimonials/certificates will have to be submitted to the
Board at the time of interview.
ii. Application form, which is incomplete in any respect, such as, without photograph and signature, is
liable to be rejected summarily.
iii. Only those candidates who fulfill all the terms and conditions of the advertisement in respect of the post
for which they are applicants shall be entertained. Others need not apply.
iv. Candidates who are in Govt. service (both State & Central) or in Govt. owned undertaking or other
similar organizations etc. shall have to apply through proper channel, NOC is to be submitted in
physical form directly to the Secretary, Medical and Health Recruitment Board Assam, ACMR
Building, Near O/o the DME, Assam, Six Mile, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 and they will have to submit
release order at the time of joining.
v. The Board reserves the right to cancel, alter or modify the advertisement or other terms and conditions
of the advertisement without any prior notice. vi. All other matters which are not specially provided in
this advertisement shall be decided by the Board.
