REGIONAL RECOGNITION OF SCHOOLS WITH 3-STAR RATING ON

WASH IN SCHOOLS (WINS) PROGRAM

1. The Regional Office of DepEd NCR through the Education Support Services
Division – School Health and Nutrition Unit (ESSD-SNHU) reinforces and
strengthens the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in Schools (WinS)
Program and ensures that best practices are acknowledge and the
implementing schools are provided with opportunities for continuous
improvement.

2. In compliance to DepEd Order No. 10, s. 2016 entitled, “Policy and

Guidelines for Comprehensive Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in
Schools (WinS) Program”, a Recognition Award will be given to schools in the
National Capital Region for reaching the 3-Star Level of WinS Program
Implementation by achieving between 75 to 100% of WinS indicators.

3. The said Recognition will be held on June 14, 2024 (Friday) from 8:00 a.m.
to 12:00 p.m. at the DepEd NCR Conference Hall, Misamis St., Bago Bantay,
Quezon City.

4. Attendees to the Regional WinS Recognition are the School Heads, SGOD
Chiefs and Division WinS Focal Persons of the awardee schools.

5. Attached is a copy of the List of Schools with 3-Star Rating (elementary and
secondary).

6. This Office would like to commend the untiring effort and dedication of the
School Heads, Division WinS Focal Persons, School WinS Coordinators and
all those who are involved in the implementation of the WinS Program.
