Grace center for children and family founded in 1999 in Ethiopian calendar by

Ethiopian catholic church located in bahir dar kebel 13.It is a holistic approach

to helping impoverished families and orphaned and under privileged children.

The service will run from 12:30am to12:00pm in local time.

Date 20/09/2016 On this day, it was the day we were going to start the

organization we were assigned to, namely Greece center filled education two,

and as usual we called and met with the group of students and finished our

preparations. But before they started to go to the organization they call the

person who work that organization.so he told us the company is closed because

of gnbot 20 calendar. So we can not go and we can not get the company's staff, we

talked about what to do next and then we parted ways.

Date 21/09/2016 As usual, we left at 2.30am and reached Grace Center at

3.00am. As usual, when we knocked on the door, the security guards opened the

door for us and we introduced ourselves. Fortunately, they tried to remind us

about the protections we had done in this company last year. they showed us the

organization,s leader office then we get the leader.then after We give greeting

and also introduced our self and give the letter.then He told us the background

information of the organization.and he told us children's that fail in road so the

nursery takes and raises abandoned children from different places from the age

of zero and above.and also he told us the organization that teaches them when

they reach the school level. In addition to this, it also takes care of people with

special needs and other things. After that we met with asocial work profession.he

is teach astudent,s that below grade fourth and then we parted ways and made

an appointment to come back need clients for the next . However, one of the

problems I faced that the manager who did in previous year.he was changed by

other leader,s so in this time I fell nervous because I am not believe that the

current leaders not give enough information as the former .

In addition to this a psychology teacher, who was helped us last year due to she

get illness. When the organization leader told them that she was terminated from

the organization.in this time I was very sad, because she was very voluntary and

she saport them a very will.

27/09/2016 On this day, we were going to filled education two for the second

time. But unfortunately, I was not a participant on this day. Due to a family

problem, that is, my grandfather passed away, so I went to the family. However,

as we told me the rest of the group members went to Grace center as usual.

They had gone to the grece center, and then they met a person with a degree in

social work who was assigned from the organization to serve as a teacher. They

explained to him that the appointment was for to choose a client for us before on

21/09/2016. They told me that he explained to them that he would be help and

give every information about the organization. Then they told him that according

to our schedule, they need a client.They told me that they had selected one

student from the same organization x and another one who was receiving foster

aid x. However, they told me that they had various problems. it was very sunny

and that they paid for the taxi themselves, and that they encountered very bad

smells in the area where the customer's family liveving area is have adifficult

Oder or smile .In addition, when they went from the campus to the organization,

half of the students told me that a taxi passed them and they paid for it with their

own money.

On 28/09/2016, as I tried to mention above, in this day also In was not able to

participate on this day due to family problems. But as the group members told

me, they also did not go to the organization . Because one of the clients is a

student, so you can not met them becouse of he have not enouph time could not

meet them. and again, our second client olso could not met because he is

mentally retarded and also his mother is merchant.so she also could not met

them.
