PROTOTYPE VARIANTS
• System Carrier (8x8-6) with Universal Torsion Resistant Subframe (UTRS)
• Load Handler (8x8) with Automated Load Handling System (ALHS)
• Truck-based Howitzer (10x10) with 155mm gun capability
ADDITIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
The assembled Universal Torsion Resistant Subframe (UTRS) maximizes the overall payload capacity of the cargo by freeing
up the installation space previously required for the subframe. This patented new development is particularly advantageous
for tanker, tray, container frames and system carrier applications – proving advanced interoperability.
Rethinking the way containers and flat racks were deployed in the past, Supashock is revolutionising the load handling
process. By picking up containers and flat racks without leaving the cabin, the Automated Load Handling System (ALHS)
increases soldier safety and minimises physical efforts by not being forced to manually apply X-frames. Just one operator
can manage the whole loading process. Cargo can be picked up and deployed in difficult terrains e.g. muddy or rough
environments – adversing all odds.
Increased tactical and strategic mobility as well as enhanced firing capabilities for longer shooting distances are key factors
for future artillery systems. The HX 10x10 truck-based Howitzer is the ideal answer for these advanced effectors.
In combination with the newly developed Artillery Truck Interface (ATI), the HX 10x10 can be used as a standard base for
different artillery solutions or similar weapon systems. Based on the HX family this offers a cost effective carrier module
compared to currently used tracked platforms or tactical wheeled vehicles.
The upgraded Integrated Armor Cabin (IAC) offers now even more protection against mine, blast and IED threats whilst
providing the best possible field of vision. Next to enhanced structural integrity and crew safety, the new protected cabin
also comes with a completely modernised interior offering an integrated dashboard with air conditioning and significantly
more stowage space for C4I equipment. In addition, soldiers feel right at home in their HX3 thanks to significantly improved
ergonomics.
The new driver assistance systems support the crew through adaptive technologies and sensors while driving. These automated
systems warn the driver of potential collisions, assist with braking, and thereby provide honorably greater safety.
