THE BULLYNG

Bullying is a widespread problem in school environments that has a profound


impact on the lives of students. On the one hand, while some children enjoy
strong friendships and healthy relationships, others experience isolation and
hostility from their peers. Generally, victims tend to hide this problem because
they fear that the result will be worse. As a consequence, this phenomenon can
be very normalized by parents and authorities. However, it can cause emotional
and psychological damage to the victim. This phenomenon can consist of verbal
insults and humiliation but also physical attacks. On the other hand, the reasons
for abuse can be of different types, such as the family environment, domestic
violence and lack of communication. As a result, victims of cyberbullying may
experience anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and even suicidal thoughts. So it
is essential to raise awareness about the risks of cyberbullying, promote
responsible use of technology and encourage empathy and respect online to
prevent this form of harassment and protect the integrity of people in the digital
environment. If you are a victim of bullying, it is recommended that you notify the
corresponding authorities, and explain to them what type of bullying you are a
victim of since these attacks can reach a higher level.

Whereas you do not feel helpless when making the report, you can also make an
anonymous report.
DIALOGUE

Ana: I am very concerned about the issue of bullying in our school. Despite teachers' efforts, it remains a serious
problem.

Carlos: Yes, it's true. Even though anti-bullying programs are implemented, some students continue their aggressive
behavior.

Ana: Exactly, because it is not only about the rules, but also about the lack of empathy among some students.

Carlos: Since , the fact that some parents are not involved in their children's education contributes to this problem.

Ana: However , it must be recognized that the school has taken important measures to combat it.

Carlos: Although these measures are useful, they are not always sufficient due to the complexity of the problem.

Ana: I agree. Therefore, we should look for more ways to involve the community in the solution.

Carlos: Sure, because if we all collaborate, we could significantly reduce cases of bullying.

Ana: That's right, and furthermore, we need to foster an environment of respect and support among everyone.

Carlos: Without a doubt. The key is education and constantly promoting positive values.
