User Responsibilities

As a user of Punjab and Sind Bank (PSB) VPN facility, the VPN user requesting the VPN access have certain
responsibilities.
User’s signature below indicates their acceptance of these responsibilities in addition to regulations for access to
bank’s network through VPN as per Bank IT security Policy.
 VPN Users must protect the login credentials and keep it secure and not disclose it to anyone.
 Users not to share its credentials with anyone.
 Users to lock their PC/Laptop if they are away from their workstation.
 Users not to leave an unlocked PC unattended. Also ensure to have a strong password for the system.
Remember password functionality should be turned off.
(Lock PC by pressing Ctrl – Alt – Del together; then the Enter key. To unlock your PC, press Ctrl – Alt – Del again.)
 Users to refrain from using someone else’s credentials.
 Users should access only required data as per their assigned task.
 Users are not to attempt to access data users are not authorized to access.
 Users are not to use PSB data for personal use.
 Users have access to confidential information and it is their responsibility to protect all copies of that data,
including printed reports (if any), information displayed on user’s screen, and e-mail use of the data. The user
to ensure that the bank’s confidential data is disposed/deleted from the user machine immediately after
completing the assigned activity/task.
 Change default passwords on your home Wi-Fi router to prevent hackers accessing your network.
Confidentiality Declaration:

confidential information of Bank IT system in my Device Through VPN access. I hereby undertake:

a) To take all possible steps to preserve strict confidentiality regarding any information to which I have access through VPN
during my work from home tenor or otherwise.
b) To never pass any information obtained to anyone outside or anybody not authorised to have as per Bank’s Policy unless
I have been authorised to do so by bank’s competent authorities.
c) To keep all login credentials to IT resources (viz. Database/Application/Servers etc.) secure.
d) To inform the bank through Service provider in-case of leaving the organization/project completion.
e) To disable my VPN, if I do not login the VPN within 30 days.

I hereby understand that any breach of the above will result in action as per OSR for bank employees /as per Agreement (for
vendors).
