 Where do you live?

 Do you have a roommate?
 Write about your house or apartment. What’s in it? Where are your
things?
I live in Porto, but I’m from Vila Real. In Porto I live in an apartment and I share it with
three persons, but I don't have roommates. Next to my bedroom is the Edgar and in
front of our bedrooms are Miguel and Vitor. My apartment has four floors and I have
two neighbors on top of my floors, four neighbors under my floors and next to my floor
in this moment there isn't neighbors. My apartment has three bedrooms, one kitchen and
two bathrooms. My building is behind of the Instituto superior de Engenharia do Porto,
in street S. Tomé in Paranhos. In Paranhos there is the IPO, the Hospital of S. João and
the university campus.

 What month is it?
 Do you work? What days do you have to work? Are you a student? What
days do you have classes?
 What dates are important for you this month?
This month is sixth month of the year, it’s June. In this moment I’m working in Vila
Nova de Gaia, in Sqedio. Usually, I work five days for week, these days are Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The weekend, Saturdays and Sundays are
for rest. Although I work, I’m also studying master’s in mechanical engineering, in
Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto. In this moment I don’t have classes, because
I’m doing the thesis and there aren’t classes.
In this month I don’t have important dates, but I love twentieth three day because it’s
day of S. João in Porto and there is a big party by the streets of city.

 You have to go shopping today. What stores do you have to go to?
 How many things do you have to buy? What are they? How much do they
cost? You can use your imagination.
Today I have to go to the shopping, because I want to buy a gift for birthday of my best
friend and of my sister. I have to buy two gifts. Their birthdays are on the next
weekend. I want to buy the gifts on electronic store or clothes store, but I don’t know
what I to buy. My sister likes music and pants, and my friend likes video games and
jackets. The gifts can’t much expensive, because I don’t have lots of money.

I need to buy some clothes, because my clothes are old. I want to buy one t-shirt. I like
this t-shirt, and I can to buy it on clothes store, in Santa Catarina street. It costs ten
dollars. It isn’t much expensive.
I have an old laptop. I need a new laptop for work with Solidworks. I want to buy a new
laptop, but I don’t want to pay much money. This laptop is very expensive, but it is
great for work with Solidworks. I can to buy it on electronic store. It costs one thousand
euros.

Usually, in morning, at nine o’clock I eat my breakfast. On the table, next to the plate,
there is an apple and a bottle of milk. On the plate I have a cup of coffee and a cookie.

At the dinner I go to eat at house of my parents. There are always a lot of food, but there
isn’t tomato soup. My parents don’t like tomato. There is always vegetable soup.

There are five children’s next to the table. On the table there is a big pizza. The
children’s love to eat pizza. They want to eat pizza at all time.

In this picture, I see two women, one girl, one man, one boy and three children. The
women are in the kitchen. Two women are making the dinner and the girl is talking to
the phone. In the kitchen, there is a lot of furniture, one table, eight chairs and one
fridge. All other people are in the living room. The boy is working on his laptop. The
children are watching TV and the man is reading a book. In the living room, there are
some furniture, one chair, two sofas, one table and one TV. In finally, there is one cat
that is sleeping on the floor in front of the man.

My friends and I are on our holidays. In this year, we are on the beach in Algarve.
Usually, we are all days on the beach, playing football, volleyball and other games.
Then, in the end of the day, we go to the hotel for to shower. Next, we go out at the
restaurant for to eat, and then we go to walk on the streets at city for to know the city
and people. We walk at night, because during of the day it is very hot and we prefer are
to sleeping on the beach. Usually, in holidays, I wear one shirt, shorts and slippers. I
like holidays.

Today was my first day at work after my holidays. Today I was wake up early because I
have to start to work at 9:00 o’clock in Vila Nova de Gaia. Usually, after I get up, I eat
my breakfast, and then I take a shower. After this, I walked until train station for goes to
work at 8:00 o’clock. I work until 6:00 PM, after this, I goes to home or I go to shop to
buy food for I can make my dinner. Then I eat my dinner and next I watch Tv, I play
video games, or I study English. Usually I go to the bed at 11:00 o’clock. In this
moment, I’m in lunch time at work making to end my book for the encounter that is
tomorrow.

My name is Ricardo, and I’m from Vila Real. In this moment I live in Ermesinde,
because I work in Vila Nova de Gaia. Today the weather is not good, but too it isn’t
bad. Today it’s more a less. Yesterday the weather was good; it was sunny and very hot.
I’m an engineer and in the past I was a student. My parents live in Vila Real and work
in farm. Usually my mother helps my father and she also take care of the house. They
work a lot.
My friend Edgar in this moment are working in Porto. He was a student, but not in
Porto. He was a student in Felgueiras.

My parents are my father Carlos and my mother Elsa. My father is a farmer and my
mother does not have a work, but she helps my father in farm and take care of the
house. My mother has fifty-three years old and my father has fifty-four years old. I do
not have a big family. I only have one sister. My sister name’s Ana Lucia and she has
thirty years old. She is an engineer. In this moment, she is not married, but she lives
with her boyfriend.
I is not married, but I have a girlfriend. She is a lawyer. In this moment, we live
together. My family live in Vila Real.

Today I write about my family. My family is small. I only have one sister. My sister is a
engineer and in this moment she works in Capgemini in Evora. My father is a farmer
and my mother doesn’t have work. She helps my father in farm and take care of the
house. My grandmother’s and my grandfathers there aren’t alive. I talk with my mother
and my father every days. Usually I talk with my sister every weeks, but never more
that four often per week. When I was a child I don’t have special place, but I like is in
my house.
