II. Rationale
Instructional supervision is a process for improving classroom delivery of instruction. It highlights the provision of
suggestions and encouragement to teachers in improving the atmosphere and standard of instruction in the classroom.
One of an instructional supervisor's duties in a school is to assist teachers in creating lesson plans.
A lesson plan is considered an essential teaching tool since it will guide teachers in presenting the lesson. This can
serves as a roadmap for teachers in achieving essential features in quality instruction such as alignment of the skill of the
competency to the various assessments in the classroom which is non-negotiable. With this, the school head plays vital
role on this matter in achieving alignment of the skill for the learners to be equipped with the necessary skills needed in
the 21st century learning.
This action is imperative in assuring that proper guidance for teachers is achieved in crafting lesson plan. Along
with this, the provision of teachers with the chronological steps in aligning the skill of the competency to the formative and
summative assessments is strategic action in adhering to the 21 st century learning.
