Abstract of the Experiment: Write the purpose of the experiment, the method used to
measure experimental parameters and summary of the main results.

1) To determine how to calculate the percentage error of both resistor in parallel and series
2) To understand and know how to calculate the resistance estimated from the color code

And the main results is: R1=220±11Ω R2=82±4.1Ω R3=120±6Ω

Percentage error in series= 1.96% percentage error in parallel=2.50%

Power in sreies=7.40*10^-3 Power in parallel=0.06

Result and Analysis: Give a summary of your results and analysis. Interpret your findings,
and possible errors and uncertainties in your results.
1)İ have measured three different resistor by the color code method and then i have measure the
resistance of both series and parallel resistor by using current, voltage then i have calculated the
equivalent resistance but i use different equations for series and parrallel resistor and at the end i
have measure the perecntage error and power

2)I made some mistakes due to my measurment like calculation mistakes, obervation mistakes, so
that i have to repeat my calculations to ensure about my results, and surely these mistakes will
affected negatively my results, and this is my measurment uncertainties, also i have noticed from the
expirement video that the measurment tool must be sensitive, however some tools not give the
exact value.

Result and Analysis: (Continue):

Conclusion: Summarize your findings after your measurements and the following analysis.

Finally I have learned from the experiment video some new equations like equivalent
resistance and power equations, also I have learned using some tools like the multimeter
device to measure the potential on the resistor in the circuit and the power supply to power the
circuit in the end I have calculated the resistance and the equivalent resistance, percentage
error, power for both resistor in parallel and series.

Answer to End of Lab Questions:

the current in the circut is move away from the positive terminal and toward the negative terminal of
the battery and electrons will move in the same direction across the wire
