Main Aim: To present the letters C, K, E and relevant lexis

Resources to be
used: Flashcards, cut out words, SB p 12-15.
Stage+ Aim Procedures Interaction
Timing
Lead-in To set the context of the Ss work in teams. Each team gets puzzles with letters. The T-Ss
lesson. To generate interest teams put the pieces together to make letters. The team that Ss-T
in the topic. finishes first is the winner.

Introduction of Introduce the letters and T writes the letters C, K, E on the board and introduces their T-Ss

Tracing To provide ss with the SB: p 14. Ss trace the letters following the pattern. Ss don’t T-Ss

Practice sound To provide ss with the 1. Ss play in two teams. There are two sets of printed T-Ss
