axial force in each of the 7 members connected at E, and state if these members are in tension or
compression.

Question 9:
The three blocks have weights of WA=60 kg, WB=15 kg and WC=50 kg. Determine the smallest
horizontal force P that must be applied to block C in order to move this block. The coefficient of
static friction between the blocks is 0.3 and between the floor and each block is 0.5.
