Shri Char.dr&kant R. Bhatt B.A,, L.L.B. is ao

eminent A:.1r,l t1ger 0f Gujarat. He has several books in
Gujarati language r•n A trolo ! to hi credit. His
profound insight into intcr prl'.'f at ion of horo!..,:op:s
both ia Sayan and N irayan Charts is really amazing.
In order to on tribute to the spread of knowledge of Indian
A5trology, both ia ladia and Abroad we hate already
published bis two books written in English viz; I.
Nakshatra Chintamani,
- Horoscopes & Diseases. These two books have been
very warmly received and appreciated by the students of
Astrology both in India and Abroad.
'Fur1hcr Lights on Nakshatra Chintamani' is the
third bo"k written by Sbri Bhatt in English. This book
by Shri Bhatt throws more light on the principles of
predicting, cnunc• iated ia his first book 'Naksh1tn
Chintaman1' and is profusely illustrated with t amplc
horoscopes. Moreover, he has outlined the principles l f
predicting in simple, precise and penetrating words to
enable the studcnrs of Astroloay to master them in no
time and arri\'c at a quiet and straight analysis or the
horoscopc1 and correct conclusions.
Sbri Bhatt being a master of both Western and Indian
Systems of A5troJoiy. has added an intcrc ting and
enlightening chapttr on, how to analyse and interpret
Nirayan Horoscopes an a Sayan way with appropriate
tables for fixing aspects
Moreover, be has discusi.cd transi1s of slow moving
planets m a SL'parntc (haptcr and thrown a very useful light
on predicting from the transit& of lh1sc planets independently
of Dasha Bhukt.i System of Prtdicting.

It so happens that the cuspa1 sub lord of the principal bouse

under con, idcration is not found in the star or the occupant or of
the owoer of the bou c or houses under review.

Sometimes Rahu or Kctu l) c;m.ues the cuspal sub Jord of the

prim:ipaJ house: unda con.sideration and it occupies neither of the
house or bousi:.s under rc,,·iew.
Bu[ the cuspal sub lord, its star lord and its sub lord: nlso• Rahu
or Ketu are found to b connected wilh the principal bou or

In such casi:s we hsve to use our discretion in determining

5 Ir the planet and its.star lord arc in 6, 8 or l'2 sign from

each other, the native will not get resulu to a desired extent during
their joint pctiod.
6. [f the star lord of the period or sub ·period ruler be

7. The joiat period rulers generally give the results or the house

the strength or their star lords.
8. Ir the joint period rulers are in reception (in c1ch other·s
