2.2 Given the equation: 𝑦 = 9 − 𝑥(8 − 2𝑥).

2.2.1 Determine the coordinates of the turning point by completing the square for the
expression 9 − 𝑥(8 − 2𝑥). (5)

2.2.2 Determine the nature of the roots of the given equation without solving the
Equation. (3)

2.2.3 Draw a neat sketch of the curve, indicating all critical points. (3)
