SOFTWARE

• Definition: A set of programs or instructions that tells the computer and its
hardware how to perform specific tasks.

COMPONENTS OF SOFTWARE
• System software: Includes the operating system, large processor, and device
drivers.
• Application software: Includes general-purpose and customized software.
• Programs: Instructions executed by the computer
• Documentation: Information about the software
• Operating procedures: Guidelines for using software.
• Code: The instructions executed by the computer
• Data: Information manipulated by the software
• User interface: How the user interacts with the software.

• Step three: Click on the Snipping tool
form the search results.
• Step four: Click on the Snipping tool, select Mode.
• Step five: Select the area you want to snip.
• Step six: After you have captured the snip, save the snip.
• Step seven: This is done by clicking on File > Save As.
• Step eight: Type a file name and then click on Save.
