ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
ON THE SEMINAR WORKSHOP ON
VIDEO EDITING AND SCRIPTWRITING

I. ACCOMPLISHMENT

Pursuant to Regional Memorandum No. 259 s. 2020 re: Development of


Learning Resources in Video, Audio, and other Digital Formats, the Division of
Lanao del Norte through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) shall
develop and validate audio and video lessons in all learning areas anchored to the
new version of the self- learning modules. Hence, the DepEd TV LaNorte production
team together with identified editors, scriptwriters, and teacher models from all
learning areas shall make audio and video lessons.

In order to capacitate the newly identified video editors, scriptwriters and teacher
models, a series of training workshop was conducted. On November 11-12, 2021 a
webinar was conducted. The facilitators and speakers of the said webinar gathered in
Lala National High School. On November 17-19, 2021, the face-to-face seminar
workshop was conducted in Lala National High School. An intensive training on
scriptwriting was done. The participants were expected to produce/ make scripts for
science audio and video lessons. The scripts produce during the workshop were
scrutinized and revised so that it will be ready for the shoot.

One of the training facilitators and at the same time resources speaker of the said
workshop is MERCELLE MARRIE T. ARECAŇA, Teacher III from Kapatagan East
Central School. Together with Julie S. Maruhom, Pamelah R. Amor, Sittie Aynah M.
Macakiling they facilitated and become resource speakers for scriptwriting workshop.

The training on scriptwriting for audio and video lessons help the teachers to
become better scriptwriters. Teachers in this time shifted from making daily lesson
plan to script writing. Teachers are happy of their new learnings and got excited in
making the scripts.
