Dear Parents,
Greetings!
• The Summer Vacation for the students begins from Wednesday
May 1, 2024 to Saturday, June 8, 2024. The school reopens on
Monday, June 10, 2024 after the summer break.
• VACATION ASSIGNMENT: During the Summer vacations,
students have to complete the Assignments given. The
submission date for the same will be intimated later.
• School office working days during the summer holidays, will be
from Monday to Friday between 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The office
will remain closed on all Saturdays.

English: -PROCESS / RECIPE WRITING
Write the ingredients and the process/ recipe of any famous dish from
Maharashtra or Sikkim and supplement it with corresponding
pictures.

HINDI: महाराष्ट्र तथा सिक्किम के वन ों में पाई जाने वाली वनस्पसतय ों के


नाम बताते हुए सकन्ीों ३ वनस्पसतय ों की उपय सिता बताते हुए िसित्र वर्णन
कीसजए।

MARATHI: महाराष्ट्र आसर् सििीममधील प्रसिद्ध अिलेली मोंसिरे याों िी


सित्रे (क र्तेही ि न- ि न) सिकटवून क र्त्याही एका मोंसिरासवषयी
थ डक्यात मासहती सलहा.

MATHS: Make a comparative study on the population of


Maharashtra and Sikkim. Also write the number name in the two
system of numeration.

Students will make creative models of the place value chart and
represent the population of the two states using the model.

SCIENCE: Medicinal Plants


Make a brochure of any 3 medicinal plants native to Sikkim and 3
medicinal plants native to Maharashtra.
Write their traditional uses and health benefits in local medicine
systems like Ayurveda.

SOCIAL SCIENCE:
Students will prepare a Mind Map for the state of Sikkim or
Maharashtra in which they will include the following:
A) Food
B) Dance
C) Language
D) Maharashtra's lush green landscape / Sikkim's mountaineous
terrains.
COMPUTER: Students will write brief information on
Maharashtra or Sikkim and present it in 4 types of alignments.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION: Bhaichung Bhutia the famous


football player hails from Sikkhim. Write a short summary on
his achievements. Paste pictures and use your creativity.

MUSIC: Learn and Write the official song of Maharashtra –


‘ Jay Jay Maharashtra Maaza’.

ART / CRAFT: Draw and color the ‘Thangka’- the tribal art
form of Sikkim.
