Job description: graphic designer with animator

1. Graphic Design:

 Create compelling visual assets such as logos, illustrations, banners, posters,


infographics, and other marketing materials.
 Develop design concepts, graphics, and layouts that align with brand guidelines and
project requirements.
 Use graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to
design and manipulate visual elements.

2. Animation:

 Design and produce animations for various purposes including explainer videos, motion
graphics, advertisements, and social media content.
 Utilize animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Blender, or Maya to create
dynamic and engaging animations.
 Bring static designs to life through motion and effects, enhancing user engagement and
storytelling.

3. Storyboarding:

 Develop storyboards and visual narratives to plan the sequence and flow of animations or
videos.
 Translate concepts and ideas into visual representations, ensuring coherence and clarity in
storytelling.

4. Collaboration:

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, content creators, and


developers to understand project requirements and objectives.
 Communicate effectively with team members to incorporate feedback and ensure that
design and animation deliverables meet project goals.

5. Branding and Visual Identity:

 Ensure consistency in branding and visual identity across all design and animation assets.
 Maintain brand guidelines and apply them to all visual materials to reinforce brand
recognition and integrity.

6. Motion Graphics:

 Design and animate motion graphics elements such as typography, transitions, and visual
effects to enhance video content.
 Incorporate motion graphics seamlessly into videos to convey information effectively and
engage the audience.
7. Technical Skills:

 Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and tools in graphic design and animation.
 Possess a strong understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and
composition.
 Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro is a
plus.

8. Problem-Solving:

 Identify design and animation challenges and propose creative solutions to overcome
them.
 Adapt to evolving project requirements and deadlines while maintaining quality and
creativity in deliverables.

9. Portfolio:

 Showcase a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in graphic design and animation


across various projects and styles.

Requirements:

 Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Multimedia Design, or related field.


 Proven experience as a graphic designer with a focus on animation.
 Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop,
Illustrator, InDesign) and animation software such as After Effects, Blender, or Maya.
 Strong portfolio showcasing design and animation skills across different mediums and
styles.
 Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
 Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually stunning and engaging designs and
animations.
