Neuroplasticity in Paediatrics
Plasticity = ‘to form’
- brain’s ability to learn, remember and forget, capacity to reorganize and
recover from injury

2 yo has 2 x the number of synapses as an adult, continue to be ‘pruned’


down to 16 yo
