Brickwork Mortar Calculations

For 1 cum. of brickwork no of bricks required = 500

Mortar in 1 cum of concrete = 1- (500*0.19*0.09*0.09)

=0.23 cum

Adding 15% extra for frog filling and wastage

Mortar in 1 cum of concrete= 1.15*0.23= 0.265 cum

Volume of dry mortar = Volume of wet mortar* 1.25

=0.265*1.25

=0.33 cum
