Draft Circular:
Preamble:
GSFC University evaluates the academic performance of its students through various
examinations, including Mid Semester Examination, Continuous Evaluation, and End
Semester Examination, every semester. In accordance with the guidelines and
recommendations of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), National
Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020), University Grants Commission (UGC), and All India
Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the university has decided to adopt Outcome
Based Education (OBE) as a framework for assessing and evaluating the academic
progress of students.
Decision:
It is proposed to incorporate the Course Outcome based evaluation from the current
Even session 2022-23 onwards. The guidelines for the implementation are as follows:
1. All the concerned Paper Setter are required to re-submit the Question Paper for
(Semester-II & IV) along with defined Course Outcome (COs) as per attached
format.
2. After completion of Assessment in particular subject(s), concerned Examiners are
required to fill the evaluated marks in the given excel sheet and upload the Excel
sheet into the shared Google Drive of respective School.

3. Examiners can bring their laptop into Examination Division for preparing the Excel
Sheet.
4. Respective Schools will find the evaluated Excel Sheet in their Google Drive for
record and further submission to any such inspection body whenever required.
