The pie graph illustrates the percentage of disbursements in various types of household in

two different countries namely Japan and Malaysia in the year of 2010.

Overall, it is obvious that the proportions of spending on housing and transport were
highest in both these nations, while people spent the lowest of their money on other goods
and services.

As can be seen from the chart, while housing accounted for the highest proportion of
Japanese people’s disbursement, at 29%, that of Malaysia citizen’s experditure was
slightly lower, at 26%. In relation to transport, Japan accounted 21%, whilst the figure for
Malaysia standing at 34%.

In terms of the remaining sections, the percentage of health care in Japan was smaller than
Maylisia, at 24% and 27% respectively. Moreover, started at 20%, the figure for food in
Japan was twice time as much as that for Malaysia whereas other goods and services were
the smallest, at 6% and 3% respectively.
