How and why have the project workshop activities developed your social and
ethical awareness and responsibility? (500 words)

Answer: The workshop activities enhance the knowledge about the impact of social and ethical
responsibility in the day-to-day life. When I attended the workshop activities the social
awareness was lacking. As I learned the social awareness consists of some skills which is
required in self-development and provide awareness such as the interaction skills, emotional
skill, communication skills, participation skills, and socializing. I have learned about personal
SWOT analysis, how to make a personal development plan, and many more. These activities
helped me in the development and analysis of my social and ethical awareness and
responsibilities. As the SWOT analysis helped me in the development and identification of the
strong and the weak skills in me. According to Korkko et al (2019), the personal requirement
plan requires proper guidance and support even after analyzing the strong and weak skills. The
further activities in the development plan made me realize that I need to develop my skills.
The knowledge about working in collaboration is very useful for the better and new skill building.
The activity enhanced my knowledge of social and ethical awareness in the necessary in
collaboration with the other or a team, as group work help in achieving them quickly and new
skills are developed but what I analyzed is the appreciation and confidence should be given in
the team for the efficiency and emotional support.
Furthermore, communication skill is needed which helps in the process of interpretation of the
ideas, opinions, and feeling from the performance, as it teaches the effectiveness and effective
way for the attainment of the goal. According to Marckovic and Salamzade (2018),
mismanagement can cause the fall of personal and professional development which is due to
the lack of communication or poor communication. As I lack communication with the different
community people or which belongs to the other religion and the casts. From the workshop the
awareness of non-discrimination regarding the caste and religion is learned as it is important to
treat each and every person equally. Now I treat people with more respect, and dignity. The
importance of the negotiations in the community for building the better future. The use of the
negotiation in lots of situations and places, as it importance skill to develop (Prasad and
Tabassum., 2020). As I am not good that much in the negotiation with people as the other from
which is learned in the activity of communication through the discussion. As the negotiation
provide the resolution to the conflicts or issue as it is better to deal on the common ground.
From the activities learned about how, when and what skills are required to develop
professional skills in the development of the professional career.
