Important notes before You Proceed


 As the EAE application portal may require the display of a pop-up window,
please ensure you have disabled the ‘Block Pop-ups’ function for the browser
you are using.
 You are given 30 minutes to complete your submission. If you have left the
portal idling, your submission will not be captured after your last action.
 Do give yourself ample time to complete your submission. You are encouraged
to prepare your write-up before logging in to the portal.
 Please provide the most updated and correct email and mobile number during
your application. As you will be notified of your application status via the
information that you have provided, please verify your contact information
before you logoff the portal.
 For enquiries, please email to [email protected] and
include your NRIC/FIN and name.

a. You may access the EAE Application Portal at https://eae.polytechnic.edu.sg
b. You will see the following “Introduction” page when you launch the above URL.

a. To access the application page, click on “Application” and you will see 3boxes
for the different EAE Application Portal.
b. Click on "Early Admissions Exercise (O-Level Students)”.

Step 1a: Create EAE Account


a. Eligible candidates can submit an
application using SingPass or using the
EAE account you have created.
b. To create an EAE Account, click on
“Sign Up”.
c. Follow the steps shown on your
screen to create account.
Note.: You must use the same login
method throughout the exercise.

Step 2a: Login


You may log in using the account created in Step 1 or log in using the SingPass.

Log in using EAE Account:


Enter your NRIC/FIN, Date of
Birth, Password and Security
Code.

Log in using SingPass:


Click on [Log in with singpass]

Step 2b: Forgot password


If you have forgotten your password, click “Forget Password” and follow the steps to
reset your password:

Enter the required information (It


must be the same information
provided in Step 1b). Click “Reset
Password” button.

A system generated passphrase and link


will be sent to your registered email
address.

Step 2c: Forgot password


Enter the required information and the Passphrase received in your email.
Note.: Passphrase usually ends with == without spacing at the back. Copy the passphrase in the
email including == and paste in the Passphrase textbox.

Click on “Show Password” to retrieve the password (shown in Red). Save the password.
You will be able to login using the password provided.

Step 2d: Change password


If you wish to change your password, click on “Change Password” link and follow the
steps to change your password:

Enter the required information (It must


be the same information provided in Step
1b). Click “Change Password” button.

You will receive an email confirming your


password has been changed successfully.
You will be able to login to the system
using the new password now.

Step 3a: Submit application


After login, please read the instructions carefully before
you begin your application. If you sign in via EAE account,
proceed to enter your personal information.

If you sign in using SingPass, system will display a


message saying “Your particulars will be retrieved from
myInfo”

By clicking “Save and Proceed”, the information will be


saved. Next time you login, the information will be pre-
populated. If you login with SingPass, the information will
be retrieved from myInfo otherwise it will retrieve from
the information last saved.

Step 3b: Submit application


Enter your choice. Your choice must be accompanied with
a 600 character course write-up for each choice. You can
submit up to 3 choices.

Your write-up should not contain the following characters


“&, <, >, ‘, “,~”.

Click on the Link on the top right corner to navigate


between pages in the online application.

Note.: Your login session will expire if you have left the
session idle for more than 30 minutes. After the session
expired, you will not be able to submit your application
successfully.

Step 3c: Submit application


You may choose to enter additional information on your
talent/achievements. You may enter up to 1000 characters.

Step 3d: Submit application


After entering your talents/achievements, you are required to
verify your inputs and read the terms & conditions. Check the
check box and click “Submit”.
Upon submission, you will receive an email acknowledgement on
successful application submission.
You are encouraged to save or print a copy of the application for
your own safe keeping.
After submission you may login to the Portal to amend your
application details before the application closes.

Step 4: Posting Results


You will receive your posting results via SMS and Email on the first day of the
Offer & Acceptance Stage.

You are only eligible to receive up to one conditional offer. If you are assessed to
have the necessary aptitude and interest for more than one of your course choices
during the selection stage, your conditional offer received will be the course
which is ranked highest among your three choices.

For applicants who are successfully posted to a course, you have to login to the
portal to accept your conditional offer online during the Offer & Acceptance
Stage. Failure to do so will result in your conditional offer being deemed as
lapsed. You will receive a SMS notification to inform that your conditional course
offer has lapsed once the stage is over.

Step 5: Accept/Reject Conditional Offer


During the Offer & Acceptance Stage, after you login to the Portal, you will be
able to see your posting result. For successful applicants, you are required to
accept/reject the course offer online.

Click “Yes” if you wish to accept


your course offer.
Click “No” if you wish to reject
the course offer.
You are required to confirm the acceptance
after you have made your selection. Upon
confirmation, an acknowledgement email
will be sent to the email address that you
have registered with the Portal.

Step 6: Withdrawal
If you have accepted the conditional course offer during the Offer & Acceptance
Stage but decide to withdraw from the course offer, you may do so during the
withdrawal stage. You will need to login to the online system to submit your
withdrawal.

Click “Yes” if you wish to withdraw


from the accepted course offer.

You are required to confirm your withdrawal


after you click on “Yes”. Upon confirmation,
an acknowledgement email will be sent to
the email address that you have registered
with the Portal.

Note.: You are not allowed to revoke the withdrawal. Please


consider carefully before you submit your withdrawal request.

You are required to provide up to 3 employment records most relevant to your course choice.For each
employment record, you need to provide the Job Description (up to 2000 characters).You may also provide
additional information on other qualifications/experiences at the end of this step. Please read the
instructions carefully before entering your employment history.

Step 3e: Submit application


After entering your employment information, you are to verify
your input and read the terms & conditions. Check the check box
and click “Submit”. Upon submission, you will receive an email
acknowledgement on successful application submission as well as
the link to submit your supporting documents.
You are encouraged to save or print a copy of the application for
your own safe keeping.
After submission you may login to the system to amend your
application details before the application closes.
It is compulsory for you to submit your supporting documents for
the Polytechnics to assess your application.
