Sleep is very important for our health and safety. We should get enough sleep to let our
brains work properly. Research has shown that sixty percent of adults suffer from sleep
deprivation. If we don’t sleep well for a long time, many negative things may happen. We
may get sick because the body loses its ability to fight infections. Also, a lot of accidents
can be caused because drivers have difficulty concentrating as a result of sleep
deprivation. We need an average of eight hours of sleep at night. However, to get a good
night’s sleep, we need to set a specific bedtime and wake up time and make it a routine.
Also, we shouldn’t drink cola, tea or coffee during the day. We should stop eating,
studying or watching TV in bed because bed is meant for sleep. Many studies have shown
that a good night’s sleep assists teaming process. Sleep helps you to learn information that
you have come across during the day and allows the human brain to organise the day’s
memories. Sleep is an essential function that allows your body and mind to recharge,
leaving you refreshed and alert when you wake up. Healthy sleep also helps the body
