WHO: All OMS students in a Band, Orchestra, Choir, Theatre, Art, Technology, AVID, or
Skills for Living class
WHEN: Friday, May 17 from 6:00-9:00 PM (check itinerary below for drop-off and pick-up times)
COST: $38 - this includes an admission ticket (we will have the park to ourselves!),
PISD bus transportation to/from Hawaiian Falls, and dinner (choice of hamburger, hot dog, or
veggie burger, chips, and unlimited drinks). Note: extra concessions will be available to
purchase during the evening. School transportation both to and from the event is REQUIRED
for this event. STUDENTS MUST STAY FOR THE ENTIRE SOCIAL - PARENTS MAY NOT
PICK UP STUDENTS FROM HAWAIIAN FALLS EARLY.
This permission slip AND payment due BY APRIL 19TH! No late forms or payments will be accepted.

STUDENTS FROM HAWAIIAN FALLS EARLY. Payment accepted through RYCOR, cash or
check (made out to PISD with you student’s name and Hawaiian Waters in the memo line).
**In case of inclement weather, students will receive their park ticket and meal voucher to use during the
2024 Hawaiian Falls season.
ITINERARY:
4:45 PM Arrive at Otto and gather in cafeteria
5:15 PM Load buses at the back of Otto - depart by 5:30 PM
6:00 PM Arrive at Hawaiian Falls - receive ticket and meal bracelet
9:00 PM Load buses and depart for Otto
9:30 PM Approx. time of return to Otto- parents must be at Otto promptly by
9:30PM to pick up students! Please note, return is based on safety and
bus-loading procedures. Please note that due to the amount of students
attending this event, there will be a long line for pick-up.
*Please note, any student who receives an office referral from May 13-17 or ISS/OSS from April 8 - May 17 will not
be allowed to attend this social, and will forfeit any payment made towards the trip. No refunds will be given for any
reason.

Optional: Parent chaperones will be needed for this event. The cost will be the same as students -$38 which
includes park admission, food, and district transportation. Brandie Phillips will reach out to confirm
