Our mission is to enhance the human capacity of indigenous peoples through innovative
applications of computer and communication technology. To pursue this goal, we have three
work programs: The Ajb'atz' Community CETEBI, the Digital Weavers, and the Community Access
program. Each program works with social entrepreneurship models, seeking to combine donation funds
with generated income to achieve maximum impact on the development of the indigenous population.
The Ajb'atz' Community CETEBI opened its doors in 2006, serving the Quichelense public
seven days a week with:
Computer courses, K'iche' language, English language, and business training.
Internet cafe services, printing, burning, photocopying, binding and more.
Videoconferences between Quichelenses and their families in New Bedford, USA.
Rental of gunboat, digital camera and digital video camera.
Repair of computer equipment.
Sale of bookstore and computer products.
The Digital Weavers are a multi-disciplinary team of professionals in course design, multimedia
production, audio-visual production and web page design. In addition to producing the courses and
other materials that we use at CETEBI Comunitario, they develop a variety of projects for clients
around Guatemala.
Ajb'atz' Enlace Quiché is a non-profit organization. When you consume our services, you
are contributing to the development of the Department of Quiché.
