Introduction

business sector, which is a means of growth and development for the country's economy like any
other project, so this project will be established fully and transparent. to create a diversification of
the source of employment and increase trade in the country. We have the resources to implement
this project to install a heavy transportation company in Quito, with a vehicle capacity of six loads,
and relationships with clients that will directly facilitate the benefit of cargo and capital, among
other relationships. The company will provide a national service to transport goods with
responsibility, quality, safety and speed, as well as competitive prices. In a legitimate company
that can work effectively in this field, the customer can provide the cargo directly for shipment,
thus avoiding the middleman, which will start with 60% of the vehicle capacity and gradually
increase until established in the fifth year. Note that the profit of the heavy transport company will
be proportional to the number of tons transported by the company in a given period.

IMPORTANCE OF HEAVY TRANSPORTATION IN ECUADOR

Undoubtedly, one of the main actors that is part of the national economy is heavy transportation
because it has become the most used means of mobilizing merchandise both in internal trade and
in the matter of imports and exports, since it facilitates access The different industries,
pharmacists, bottlers, merchants, supermarkets, agricultural products, livestock farmers, builders,
and others, need to transport their raw materials, semi-finished products or finished goods to the
different consumer markets.

Its significance becomes important when it is available to the sectors of the economy, which
enables the progress of the country's productive apparatus, thus generating profits in the business
field such as fuel stations, manufacturers and merchants of tires, lubricants, spare parts;
professional mechanics, hotel service, meals and others in the most remote towns of the country,
as well as other companies and people who are carrying out some activity related to this sector
every day.

In addition to them, the economy is favored, leading to the consolidation and financial stability of
the country that provides greater confidence to invest and creating employment opportunities for
a better quality of life in the population.

It is important to be clear about this sector of the country's economy, as a positive aspect; That is,
the State monitors the road network of highways, the construction of new roads to open new
markets, since it contributes to the sustainability and durability of the Ecuadorian economy.

In recent years, the behavior of road freight transportation has been marked by an accelerated
growth of the vehicle fleet and a stagnation of freight to the transporter; That is to say, three types
of agents mainly participate in heavy road transport and they are: freight generators, transport
companies and transporters. The load generator is a businessman from another sector who
produces the merchandise that can be transported. This agent uses the services of a
transportation company, whose activity is not restricted to the transfer of the merchandise itself,
as it also involves the security of the cargo and the coordination of its reception and delivery. Very
often, transport companies do not use their own vehicles, but rather hire the services of
transporters to whom they pay “freight” for transporting the merchandise that has been delivered
to them by the load generators.

GROWTH IN THE INDUSTRY IN THE CITY OF QUITO.

Quito is a hub of industrial production and financial and business services that make it the main
pole of Andean industrial development in Ecuador. It is a tourist services center and the largest
generator of air and land cargo transportation in the country. It concentrates a good part of the
manufacturing establishments, employed personnel, total production and capital investment in
Ecuador.

Quito constitutes an industrial and commercial economic base linked to the most dynamic

organization in line with the demands of the international market.

The City of Quito has historically regulated industrial growth in the city, because it has had
spontaneous behavior, since it has depended predominantly on the decision of the business
sector. This has not meant that industrial growth in the city lacks rationality and logic. On the
contrary, it has been located on the main access roads to the City: Panamericana north and south,
Av. The Inca and more recently in the valleys.

THE MARKET STUDY

The market study is a tool that will allow information to be collected to understand the behavior
of the market in the event of the possible introduction of a new transport company that provides
heavy load transport services with quality, safety and speed.

It will also help to know the number of load generating companies that are dissatisfied with the
existing suppliers.

company will carry out, the price that users are willing to pay for the service.
