AGE OF APPLICATION
0-15 YEARS. It is normally used for children under 3 years old.
AIM
Evaluate a child's sensory processing patterns in the different contexts that are home,
school and society.
Search: These are people who carry out actions to obtain more sensory input.
Avoidance: These are people who create many routines and order to reduce sensory
input.
Sensitivity: they are very demanding people.
Registration: these are people who ignore stimuli and are not overwhelmed by what
is happening around them.
AIM
Evaluate motor, perceptual-cognitive, language and social skills.
MERRIL-PALMER SCALE
AGE
0-6 AND A HALF
GOALS
Assess cognitive development, language and communication, motor development,
socio-emotional development and adaptive behavior.
GOALS
Assess gross and fine motor skills.
It evaluates 8 subtests: fine motor precision, fine motor integration, motor dexterity,
bilateral coordination, balance, agility and speed, upper extremity coordination and
strength.
AGE
3 -17 years
TIME
10-15 minutes
GOALS
Evaluate visual perception and motor coordination.
AGE
8 to 15 years
GOALS
Detect difficulties by evaluating the aspects that make up the writing system , from
the most complex, such as the planning of ideas, to the simplest, such as writing
syllables.
Made up of 6 tests: dictation of syllables, words, pseudowords, phrases, writing a story
and writing an essay.
Mastery of spelling rules, accentuation and phoneme-grapheme conversion, the use of
capital letters and punctuation marks, knowledge of arbitrary spelling and the planning
of narrative and expository texts .
AGE
6-18 years
GOALS
Assess neurosensory integration skills in handwriting and cursive.
The tests carried out: write the letters of the alphabet in upper and lower case in
order, write letters of the alphabet, but out of order and dictated, write 8 numbers
without order that are dictated, copy 12 letters in upper case without alphabetical
sequence, 12 letters in lower case without alphabetical sequence, copy 6 words, copy
2 sentences and write 6 dictation words.
Also evaluates: writing speed, letter reversal.
GOALS
To measure the change in gross motor function that occurs over time in children with
cerebral palsy
It consists of 5 levels that describe the gross motor function of people with
cerebral palsy based on self-initiated movement skills.
The levels:
1. The child moves to and from the sitting position and sits on the floor freely, and
can manipulate objects with both hands. Crawls or crawls on hands and knees,
pushes with arms to stand, and walks while holding onto furniture.
2. The child remains seated on the floor, but uses his hands to support himself
and maintain balance. Crawls on stomach or crawls on hands and knees,
pushes with arms to stand, and walks while holding onto furniture.
3. The child remains seated on the floor with support in the lumbar region. He
rolls over and manages to crawl upside down and forward.
4. The child controls his head, but requires trunk support to remain seated. They
roll supine and can roll prone
5. Great limitation of voluntary control. They are unable to support the head and
trunk in anti-gravity positions in prone and sitting positions.

COP-R (TO scale)
what is it? It is a scale that measures proprioception in the clinical setting.
Together with the SOSI-M scale, it gives us information about
postural control, motor approach, vestibular and proprioceptive
processing.
general As an observation instrument, it allows 18 items to be analyzed
idea and is one of the first instruments that measures proprioception in
the clinical setting.
main goal Obtain information about postural control, motor approach,
vestibular and proprioceptive processing.
age 4 and 14 years
Fine motor.
Fine motor integration.
Manual dexterity.
Bilateral coordination.
Balance.
Agility and speed.
Coordination of upper extremities.
Force.
Know which skills, and to what extent, are affecting their areas of
development, behavior and academic learning.
