ErgoSpin hand-held nutrunners and Rexroth tightening spindles offer
further advantages. Molded connectors (IP54) allow for shorter strain

Installation Guide

! CAUTION
Danger of injury due to high voltage and potential loss of functionality and reliability!
When using cables in excess of the stated limits the ground fault interrupter can be triggered and result in loss of
functionality and reliability of the tightening system.

In connection with the compact system CS351, use cables with a maximum length of 50 meters.
Note:
With older CS351 controllers further limits of the cable length could be stipulated. Please see label below.

In connection with the servo amplifiers in the modular system, use cables with a maximum length of 100 m e-
ters.
When using extensions, do not connect more than 5 extension cables to the connecting cable.
Position the cables so that they do not present a trip hazard.
Observe the minimum bending radius when connecting cables (see page 6 for details).

Damage to electronic components
When establishing connection, make sure to dis-connect voltage to the card rack field (BT), the system box
(SB) or the compact system (CS).
Fit appropriate strain relief devices to prevent kinks in the cable.

NOTE FOR OPERATING

Damages!
Excessive twisting of the cables that are equipped with an angle plug may result in damage to the cable.
In this case, observe the maximum of the angle of turn for the angle plug.

The angle of turn of the plug has an impact on the service life of the freely rotatable right-angle plug. The rotatable
plugs have been tested for a service life of 500,000 rotations at an angle of turn of +/ - 90° from a neutral position.
At an angle of turn of +/- 150° from a neutral position, the service life is reduced to < 100,000 rotations.
Excessive pulling on the cable can cause damage as well.
Use the grip area of the plug to handle this cable.
