The Awakening of The Goddess
The Awakening of The Goddess

NOV
The dualistic vision of the world where the invisible realms were polarized into the demonic pole and the
pole of light, left us a torn world. In the ancient worldview, which persisted in the form of myths, legends
and fairy tales, the image of the Goddess and her three aspects of Virgin, Mother and Crone were kept
alive. These three symbolic aspects represent unity, creativity and transformation. Although it seems that
the Goddess was venerated in the Paleolithic as One, in the Neolithic her perception changed. The oldest
representation of the triple goddess dates back to 13,000 BC (rock carving from the French cave Angles-
sur-l'Anglin).
These aspects, being symbols of the Goddess, have multiple meanings and approaches. For some it is
the ages of women and their relationship with fertility cycles; for others it is the lunar cycles; perhaps it is a
specific social need or a way to access the Great Goddess in a less complex way; or perhaps they
represent past, present and future.
Our ancestors invented rituals to keep the energies of the Earth alive, helped by invisible beings,
considered in their various levels of evolution as: elementals, devas and angelic beings (I don't say angels
so as not to confuse, but it amounts to the same thing ;). )
