HOLIDAYS HOMEWORK

General Instructions:
1. It is mandatory for all the students to complete the holidays homework properly and neatly.
2. It is compulsory for all the pupils to submit the homework on time.

SUBJECT - ENGLISH
1.Write atleast 5 Vocabulary words with their meaning and use these words in the sentences.
2. Read the newspaper on daily basis and write 1 news everyday (minimum 20 news) in your own words.
3.Collect 5 types of Advertisement of Indian brands and paste those pictures in your notebook .( Grammar
part) and make a creative advertisement of your own .

1.Complete math note book chapter 1,2,3,9.
2.Working model of any one topic from above list
i Knowing our number
ii Whole number
iii Playing with number
iv Data handling
3.Life history of any two Indian mathematics and his /her contribution in the field of mathematics (Project).
Do it on project sheets.
4.Write minimum five tricks of Vedic math . And solve at least two questions using that tricks .
5.Write Interesting facts of mathematics minimum 10 .
( Note : Do your work in a creative way and it should be colourfull)
SUBJECT-SCIENCE
*Think Green Go Green*
Prepare a Science Magazine on the theme "Environment".
•Use coloured sheets to make your Science magazine.
•Make a nice cover.
•Use your imagination and creativity.
•The content should be of 7-8 pages only.
Some of things that you could put in the magazine are:
a. Information about one famous
environmentalist, his / her picture, and information about his/her work.
b. (2-3) News clippings and articles about the environment.
c. Some (3-4) amazing / interesting facts.
d. Puzzles/riddles/jokes/thoughts about the environment.
e. Information about pollution in the polluted place near your house. Visit the river / polluted place / a water
source with your parents and write about it in the magazine.
f. Write 5 things that you must keep in mind to keep the environment clean.
•Give your magazine a suitable title.

SUBJECT-SOCIAL SCIENCE
● Learn and Write states and their Capitals of India
● Prepare presentation on ch - 2 Geograpgy Globe - Latitudes and Longitudes With Flash card or chart.
● Make Garden decor from recycled materials:
You can create a vertical garden using plastic bottles, you can follow these easy steps:
1. Cut the plastic bottles in half, keeping the top half with the cap on.
2. Make small holes in the bottom of each bottle half for drainage.
3. Fill each bottle half with soil and plant your chosen plants or herbs.
4. Attach the bottle halves to a wooden frame or wall using screws or wire and can hang with rope.
5. Water your plants regularly and watch your vertical garden grow.
