will be rejected and suffer (Mr. 8:31, 9:9, 10:33); 3) he will return with power and glory

Luke
Luke in this gospel presents Jesus not only as the savior of the Jews but of the entire
world (Lk. 19:10), mentions parables, which is the way in which Jesus preached most.
The word Salvation is one that Luke emphasizes a lot to refer to the purpose for which
Jesus had come to this world, for example in Luke. 3:6 the words of the prophet Isaiah
are quoted “and all flesh will see the salvation of God” or in Lk. 19:9 “Jesus said to
him: Today salvation has come to this house…”)
In this gospel Jesus appears as the savior of a group of people who were poorly viewed
or looked down upon in society like the Samaritans. He heals 10 and one returns to
thank him for which Jesus tells him that his faith has helped him. saved (Lk. 17:11-19);
Jesus is also seen living with tax collectors who were despised by the Jews like Levi
(Lk. 5:27-32) or Zacchaeus (Lk. 19:1-10), the meeting between Jesus and Zacchaeus
that is only recorded in the book of Luke shows the value that Jesus places on people
despised by religious authorities.
The importance of prayer in the life of Jesus is also shown, Luke records 7 cases apart
from those mentioned in the other gospels in which Jesus prayed: at the time of being
baptized (Lk. 3:21), after the healings he performed (Lk. 5:16), before choosing the
twelve apostles (Lk. 6:12), before Peter's confession in Caesarea Philippi (Lk.9:18), on
the Mount of Transfiguration (Lk. 9:29), before teaching his disciples the model prayer
(Lk. 11:1) and when he was on the cross (Lk. 32:34, 46).
Juan
John presents Jesus to us as the Christ, the Son of God (Jn. 20:30-31), also in chapter 1
of the book shows us Christ in his absolute divinity, Jesus Christ is the same sovereign
God and full of majesty and unlimited power.
-Jesus as the verb (action), John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was
with God, and the Word was God.”
-Jesus as God, John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.”
-Jesus as creator, John 1:3 “All things were made through him, and without him nothing
was made that was made.”
-Jesus as life, John 1:4 “In him was life, and the life was the light of men.”
-Jesus as the light, John 1:4 “In him was life, and the life was the light of men.”
-Jesus made flesh, John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we
saw his glory, glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth.”

-Jesus as the Lamb of God who takes away all sin, John 1:29 “The next day John saw
Jesus coming to him, and said, Behold, the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of
the world.”
-Jesus as the I AM, when Jesus applies the title “I Am” to himself, he claims to be God
(John 8:58). Not a helper of God or a great teacher, but the Divine, Eternal, Pre-
existing, Infinite and Perfect Being. He is the God of Israel.
It presents Jesus most intimate to us, his love for humanity. In the gospel John describes
7 signs to demonstrate the divinity of Jesus, the first being the conversion of water into
wine at the wedding in Cana and the last being the resurrection of Lazarus.
