PROCEDURE FOR TAKING ENGINE FAILURE CODES

When a fault code occurs, the yellow ENGINE light (located in the upper center of the instrument panel) stays
on.

How to read the codes:

1. Stop the vehicle and engine.

2. Turn the ignition key to the On position.
3. Before the dashboard needles sweep, simultaneously press the steering wheel On and resume
accelerator switches.
4. The red ENGINE light (located at the top center of the dashboard) illuminates once. This indicates that the
active codes will be displayed.
5. Now the yellow ENGINE light will turn on, flashing the number of the present fault. If there is more than one
code, the red light will flash to indicate that another one is going to be observed.
6. After the active codes are displayed, the red ENGINE light will flash 2 consecutive times to indicate that the
inactive codes are now coming.
7. The yellow ENGINE light flashes showing the inactive codes, if there is more than one the red ENGINE light
will always appear indicating that another is coming and so on.
8. Once the codes are displayed, the red ENGINE light flashes 3 times indicating that there are no more
faults.

PROCEDURE FOR TAKING SYSTEM FAULT CODES

ELECTRIC

The model 4400 vehicle has an ESC electrical control module, located next to the clutch pedal. The function
of the ESC is to monitor all the electrical circuits of the truck. If a fault occurs, it is detected and a yellow
CHECK SYSTEM ELECTRIC light (located on the instrument panel) will immediately illuminate to indicate its
existence.

How to read electrical codes:

1. Turn off the motor.

2. Ignition key in On position.
3. Simultaneously press the suches on and resume accelerator buttons located on the steering wheel.
4. Observe the liquid screen (located at the bottom center of the dashboard) and note
the codes presented. The correct way to interpret them is from left to right from bottom to top, when the
letter A appears the code is active, when the P appears, it is passive.
