Introduction for the “100% digital transactions”:

Digital transactions are nothing but transactions of money without physically going to the bank
and can transfer the money to a person who is staying in another state or country, it involves
using digital payment methods such as credit cards, debit card, mobile Wallets, online banking,
and other digital platforms.

You can make pay bills, purchases, transfer funds, now a days all this can be done with digital
devices like smartphones, computer, or tablets, it is convenient and secure way to handle our
financial transactions in the digital age.

Remember to always be cautious and protect your personal information when engaging in
digital transactions.

Digital transactions make it easy to keep track of the transactions done by the user and send the
notification to the user when to pay the bills.

In INDIA we have some payment app like

1)Paytm

2)Google pay

3)CRED
In India online payment started on 2016 UPI (Unified Payments Interface) after this it has
become one of the most popular modes of payment in the country with transaction volume 0.01
million in August 2016 to 8.07 billion in March 2023.

Objectives of the Activities:

1)To Disseminate about digital transactions to the village people.

2)To make transactions in a convenient way.

3)pay bills with their smartphones and save time.

4)And also keeping track of their transactions.

5)Most important point to educate them about cybercrime that they can get fraud or spam
calls about their bank details and how to identify the spam calls.

6) And educating them different digital transaction apps available in India.

Day-1:

On 4th June 2023, this is the first day of our activity we are seven people in our group and first
thing is to decide which place to visit for the activity and finally we came up with a village called
“Basvapura(Byadrahalli), Belur taluk, Hassan.so after this we vacate the city and arrived at the
destination the first thing after reaching at the place is to get permission from the PDO of the
village and also we had common jersey for the group so we could maintain some discipline and
after that were introduces to the people of village by the PDO so we could work with them and
give them the basic knowledge about the digital transaction in India and that was it for the first
day.

Day-2:

On 11th June 2023, this was our day two in the village and today we had decided to educate
them with basics of digital transaction, and we started visiting the houses in the village, first we
did introduce our self and then ask them if they have any kind of smartphone or digital device
with them and then we ask them to download any transaction platform in their phone and gave
them glance of how everything work in the app then we showed them how we can send money
to anyone anywhere around the world and also pay their bills, or any other transactions from
phone and also how this can change their life and save some time instead of going to banks and
standing for many hours to just transfer money.
Day-3:

On 18th June 2023, on this day again we started with the same houses that we recently gave a
visit and now they know how everything works in the digital transactions, but they dint do any
transactions yet so today we will show them how they can start using it so we ask them to bring
their debit or credit card and showed them how to add their bank details in the app and how
they can link their bank account in the app and start using it I did some mini or quick
transactions as an example to make them understand the transaction process.

Day-4:

On 25th June 2023, we are working hard from last 3 days to make understand about the online
transaction now I am confident that they can do some basic transactions from their fingertip
and we also told them keep their UPI ID and UPI pin as safe as possible and do not share it any
one there are many hacking going on around the globe only a single clue can ruined their life so
we gave more importance to prevent it, and also we individually picked up one app like “Google
pay, Phone pay” and told them how we can use it.

Day-5:

On 2nd July 2023, this day we have planned to brush up the topics which we conveyed to people,
we also have carried some laptops with us so we can make them understand in better way
videos are shown to them for better understanding. To give practical knowledge of it we
ourselves made a transaction and made people observe the procedure of the transactions done
by us. Along with this we visited some of the small-town stores to make the best use of these
facilities.
Day-6:

On 9th July 2023, on the 6th day we have really important point to discuss and that is “INTERNET
"which is the main source of the transactions without that we can’t proceed further

Many people in the village didn't have any idea about the internet so we educated about the
internet after that we also told them to take some useful data packs which comes with combo
with talk time and unlimited data for the month, so they don't have to worry about the data and
conveniently do transactions.

Day-7:

On 23rd July 2023, on 7th day we are happy for what we have educated them with our
knowledge and now they can successfully make transactions and know about the data finally
we also educated them how this digital transaction is being upgraded with more advanced
options which take less than a second and even we told about the QR code system which makes
their work more easier and they just have to scan the QR code to pay, also we ask them to open
their app which also consist of their own QR code they can also pay through phone number and
also direct bank transfer.

Day-8:

6th August 2023, we notice that the people gained some sort of knowledge about digital
transaction. We planned to provide the information about cyber- crimes that may occur in
online transactions, we informed them by giving the examples that people had experienced the
crimes, people may receive fraud calls or messages by offering vouchers or gifts to make people
fall into their traps and have the chance of hacked by them. We informed them about the
importance of passwords to their mobiles as well as passwords for online transaction apps and
informed them not to disclose their passwords or UPIs to strangers. The importance of
passwords and security was insisted to them.
Day-9:

On 13th August 2023, on 9th day we gave walk through the village and saw some people are
making use of it and saving their time and energy and able to make transactions and gaining
some more knowledge by themself and making some money as a reward and references the
app to other people our team was happy to see this, because of our activity people make best
use of it in the village.

Day-10:

On 27th August 2023, it was our last day in the village some important work must be done like
get the PDO sign and signature on the papers and thank the people of the village and big thanks
to the PDO of the village to make our work easy and effective, we also have taken our AICTE
