The MACS Malaysian Company Secretaries Conference 2024 aims to establish itself as the

Conference Organiser
The Malaysian Association of Company Secretaries (MACS)

MACS was registered in November 1989 by a group of dedicated professionals who wanted to set
up a recognized and professional body to promote, improve, upgrade and advance the professional
status of company secretaries. On 1st September 1997, MACS was declared as a prescribed body
under Section 139A(a) of the Companies Act, 1965 and now Approved Body under Fourth
Schedule of the Companies Act 2016.

MACS is a professional body progressively engaged in the development of opportunities for


Malaysians to qualify as company secretaries through its professional examinations. MACS also
hold seminars, forums and workshops to inculcate new vital developments pertaining to the
profession and cascade latest updates of laws for professional company secretaries.

MACS is also a regular participant in dialogue sessions with the authorities and also provide
opinion and comments whenever necessary.
