Note: The length of the culverts shall be measured in square direction. The locations,
orientation of the above mentioned structures under para A&B are tentative and shall vary as
per the actual site condition. For skew nallah locations, the structure shall be provided in
skew. The height of the culvert is minimum clear height only above invert level. The length &
height proposed above is tentative and shall be provided based on the actual hydrological
calculation. Increase of total length, formation level and number of culvers based on
requirement as per hydrological design calculations shall NOT be considered as CHANGE OF
SCOPE.

Appendix B XIV
A. Retaining wall
Retaining wall shall be provided at location of restricted ROW to accommodate TCS within the
available land. No COS shall be admissible in this regard.
B. Toe Wall:
Design Chainage
S.No. Tentative Length in m
From(m) To(m)
1 26+350 26+900 2x 550
Total Length 2x 1100
Total Length (Both sides) 1100 meters
Note: The length of toe wall mentioned above is indicative. The actual lengths shall depend
on the actual PROW & applicable cross section with realistic Ground Level & FRL. Further, Toe
wall shall be provided at location of restricted ROW to accommodate TCS within the available
land. No COS shall be admissible in this regard.
C. RE Wall:

8 23+300 24+100 Unidirectional Flyover Start and End Approach 800
Total Length 6010
Total Length (Both sides) 12020 meters
Note: The lengths of RE wall mentioned above are indicative. The actual lengths shall depend
on the actual PROW & applicable cross section with realistic Ground Level & FRL. Structure
viaduct length shall be deducted from the Length of RE mentioned above. COS shall not be
admissible for any increase in the length of RE wall as per design requirements and actual site
conditions.
