Introduction

1 Introduction
When working with E3.cable and saving projects in the format .e3sx, warning and error
messages are shown to inform you about objects that are not supported or only have a limited
functionality.

This documentation gives an overview of the messages, the causes for the messages and how
to resolve the corresponding warning or error.

2 Warning Messages in E3.cable


When warning messages occur, the project can be saved in the format .e3sx but data of the
project will be lost in the .e3sx file. This is due to some objects and functionalities not being
supported in the current version of E3.cable. The following dialog opens:

The following table lists the objects that cannot be transferred to the .e3sx file, the warning
messages that are shown in the output window of E3.cable, and a solution to prevent the data
loss.

3 Error Messages in E3.cable

When error messages occur, the project cannot be saved in the format .e3sx because the
project contains data inconsistencies or data that is not supported in the current version
ofE3.cable. One of the following two dialogs open:
