• ISVPN (ghost private network)
This function is used on attendant sets and terminals to distinguish «incoming» ISDN calls
according to their importance.
Timed Forward. Dir. Spd. Dl. No.
Fill in the attribute with the prefix of a speed dialing number. If the initial «open» speed dialing
number is not filled in by the user before the timer elapses, the PBX automatically sends the call
number that corresponds to the direct speed dialing overflow number.
Example 2:
• The prefix 3500 corresponds to the number 0015566. Overflow number of time elapsed: 3501.
• The prefix 3501 corresponds to the external number 00155667000 (attendant).
Users dial the prefix 3500. The PBX generates the number 0015566.
After the timer has elapsed, if the user has not filled in the number, the PBX automatically dials
the prefix number 3501: 00155667000.
Range number
This attribute is used to define a ghost range number (0 to 31), to enable discrimination of this
number according to the ranges authorized to a user in the telephone feature category.
Can be Called/Dialed by name
Validated as Yes, this attribute is used to enter the name and first name users in the directory
feature and, by doing so, perform «Dial by name» from any node in the network.
Validated at No, this attribute is used to enter the name and first name of users only on the local
node.
Phone Book Name (Dial by name) and Phone Book First name
These attributes allow you to enter the name (12 characters maximum) and first name (8
characters maximum) used in the object «Phone book». Completing these attributes here or in the
object «Phone book» returns to the same (refer to Configuring the phone book ).
The names and first names are displayed on both attendant and remote digital sets.
They are used for Dial by name.
Note 2:
If these two attributes are not completed when «can be called/dialed by name» is validated, they
automatically assume the name and first name from the directory.
Displayed Name
This attribute is used to modify the name to be displayed (16 characters maximum) on display
sets and attendant terminals in cases where the directory name has not been adapted to the
display.
Note 3:
This attribute is automatically filled in with the directory name and first name. If this attribute is empty, the
number of the set is displayed instead of the name.
External DISA Dir. No.
This attribute operates if the DISA function is installed.
This attribute is used to fill in the directory number of the system user, who will be associated with
this speed dialing number.
Users making external DISA calls are automatically substituted on their internal sets without their
intervention.
This functionality is useful for users making calls with the same external ISDN number, or GSM
set users (if the attendant offers transmission service of the identifier number).
Completing these attributes here or in the
object Phone book returns to the same (refer to: Configuring the phone book ).
The names and first names are displayed on both attendant and remote digital sets.
They are used for Dial by name.
Note 2:
If these two attributes are not completed when Can be called/Dialed by name is validated, they automatically
assume the name and first name from the directory.
2.4.2.2 Modifying a direct speed dialing number alias
1. Select the alias you want to modify.
2. Modify the attributes according to your needs.
Note:
All parameters described in Creating a direct speed dialing number alias can be modified, except the

Enter the number recorded in the following way: 00155667000.
A recorded number can contain 20 digits maximum, including the seizure prefix.
The equivalent End of keypad can be entered using the sign * at the end of the recorded number
if it is inferior to the declared format (e.g.: 03615*).
Directory name and Directory First Name
These are the user's name and first name respectively. They contain a maximum of 20
characters.
Note 1:
Inputting the directory name and first name (20 characters respectively) allows the directory name (12
characters) and first name (8 characters) call attributes to be automatically filled in by name and vice-versa.
These attributes can be managed separately. Given the difference in length and, if the name and first name
are too long, they can be truncated (refer to the attributes Phone Book Name (Dial by name) and Phone
Book First Name).
UTF-8 Directory Name and UTF-8 Directory First Name
The UTF-8 directory name and first name can each have a maximum of:
• 43 Latin characters
• 21 Greek/Cyrillic
• 14 CJK (China, Japan, Korea)
Call Restrictions – Barring
If this parameter is validated, the contents of the speed dialing number is subject to the control of
discrimination, according to the category of public network access assigned to the user.
Overflow Range No
This information is provided to validate overflow when an outgoing trunk is completely busy.
Enter the number of another range (0 to 399) in which the speed dialing number being used is
situated for the overflow.
The value -1 signifies that there is no overflow number.
Overflow Spd DL No.
This attribute is used if the Overflow range No is filled in.
Enter the speed dialing overflow number (0 to 14999) in the chosen range.
This number will be sent to the outgoing trunk in cases of congestion.
Auto. Attendant Calling Right
Fill in the attribute with a number (0 to 31) corresponding to a category number which defines
access to features assigned to the caller (priority, possibility of overflow, access to voice mailbox,
etc.) and entered by the installation technician. The default value is equal to 0.
This category, taken into account in the Standard automatic feature, is used if the caller can be
recognized by the identifier (ISDN). The caller's number must be contained in the speed dialing
number.
Call Type
This attribute is used to define the type of call from the following:
• Normal
• VIP (Very Important Pers.)
• Internal
• ISVPN (Integrated Services Virtual Private Network).
This feature is used on attendant sets and terminals to distinguish incoming ISDN calls according
to their importance.
4. Fill in the attributes and click the validate icon to save your modifications.
The available attributes are:
Alias No.
This attribute is used to define the alias number of the number abbreviated by range (1 to 15).
Directory name and Directory first name
These are the user's name and first name respectively. They contain a maximum of 20
characters. They are used by the OmniVista 8770 application.
UTF-8 Directory Name and Directory First Name
The UTF-8 directory name and first name can each have a maximum of:
• 43 Latin characters
• 21 Greek/Cyrillic
• 14 CJK (China, Japan, Korea)
Can be called/Dialed by name
Validated as Yes, this attribute is used to enter the name and first name users in the directory
feature. By doing so, users can perform Dial by name from any node in the network.
Validated at No, this attribute is used to enter the name and first name of users only on the local
node.
Phone book Name (Dial by name) and Phone book First Name
These attributes allow you to enter the name (12 characters maximum) and first name (8
characters maximum) used in the object Phone book (refer to Configuring the phone book ).
The names and first names are displayed on both attendant and remote digital sets.
They are used for Dial by name.
Note 2:
If these two attributes are not completed when Can be called/Dialed by name is validated, they automatically
assume the name and first name from the directory.
2.4.4.2 Modifying a speed dialing number by range alias
1. Select the alias to be modified, then the attributes to be modified.
Note:
All parameters described in Creating a speed dialing number by range alias can be modified, except

3. Access the contextual menu and select Create.
This feature is used to route a caller to a directory number according to the number
requested. It is primarily used in Teleservice.
4. Click the validate icon to save your modifications.
If the number requested is filtered and associated with a filtering index (by system
management), the call can be directed to a directory number (routing), on condition that the
caller number can be identified by a number abbreviated by range.
If this is the case, the call is routed to the directory number filled in for the attribute Routing
number.
The available attributes are:
Filtering index
This attribute characterizes the called number.
Routing number
This attribute is used to enter the directory number to the call being made, taking into account the
caller number (indicated by the speed dialing number) and the called number (indicated by the
filtering index).
If this attribute is empty, the call is routed to an overflow directory number managed at system
level.
In these two cases, calls not routed to the manager are sent to the assistant, if the assistant is
present.
1. From the OmniPCX Enterprise configuration window, go to Specific Telephone Services
> Filtering table
2. Access the contextual menu and select Create.
___change-begin___
___change-end___
3. Fill in the attributes and click the validate icon to save your modification.
The available attributes are:
Table ID
The number of the table concerned. There is a maximum of 255 filtering tables.
Filtering key Type
If this filtering table has filtering units, they appear in the field Filtering key Type.
Filter Type
Each filtering table can contain up to 15 elements from the following list:
• All Directory numbers
Filtering acts on all internal directory numbers of the system.
• All Trunks Groups
Filtering acts on all external numbers.
• One Directory No.
Filtering acts on one internal directory number of the system. Enter the number in the
Contents window.
• One Trunk Group
Filtering acts on incoming external numbers on a specific trunk number. Enter the number in
the Contents window.
• One Speed Dialing No.
Filtering acts on a particular abbreviated number which corresponds to an external ISDN
number (refer to: Configuring the speed dialing numbers (abbreviated numbers) ). Enter the
speed dialing number in the Contents window.
• One Attendant No.
Filtering acts on an attendant directory number of the system. Enter the number in the
Contents window.
• T2 Key
In displaying the name of the contents of a filter type, an ISDN key can be added or deleted in
the filtering table previously selected.
A multiline set key can be programmed as a T2 dedicated key. Enter the position of the key
on the set, in the Contents window.
• Directory Progr
Filtering acts on the numbers contained in a directory. Enter the number of the directory
concerned.
Camp-on wait on a busy hunt group is authorized as long as the number of waiting calls does not
exceed the parameter value.
Enter a number between 0 and 1000.
Example:
For a wait of 100 %, there will be as many waiting calls as there are sets present in the hunt group.
Connection COS
Define the connection categories to allocate to the sets when they are active in the hunt group.
Sets belonging to a hunt group may not have the same rights in the hunt group as when they are
outside the hunt group.
Public Network COS
Each public network access category provides authorization or barring for incoming and outgoing
calls.
The public network category is independent of those of the sets inside this group. These sets
assume their own category on leaving the group.
Unavailable Authorized
When true, this item allows the last set in the hunt group to validate its own withdrawal (provided
its operating category allows this, even if the hunt group does not have an overflow directory
number).
A call to a hunt group in which all sets have removed will be routed to the overflow directory
number if it exists; if not it will be routed to the busy tone.
Special Features
• Allocation and capacity
Only sets in service can be allocated to the hunt group.
A set can only be allocated to a single hunt group.
Each set in a hunt group can be called by its own directory number.
Note:
The main directory number of a multiline set can belong to a hunt group (no restriction on the number of
lines).
• Row of sets in the group
Each set in the group has a row position in the group. This row is used for the type of search
carried out and is allocated according to the chronological order in which the set was allocated
to the group.
If a set is de-allocated, the program automatically modifies the rows of the remaining sets,
while maintaining their initial order.
Dir. No. Assigned to the Group
This item indicates the directory number(s) (40 maximum) allocated to the group.
To add a directory number, double-click in the field, then click Add before from the contextual
menu (to add a value before selecting) or click Add after (to add a value after selecting), then
type in the directory number in the item Dir. No. Assigned to the Group.
To delete a directory number, select it, then click Delete from the contextual menu.
Entity Number
Complete this item with a number from 1 to 255, which corresponds to the number of the entity to
which this group belongs.
Priority Group
For incoming calls, status changes are used to inhibit or authorize access to certain numbers
(international, long distance, etc.) according to time zones and in line with the public network
access category of the set.
For incoming calls, these changes of status are used to define the routing for incoming calls
according to the status of the system.
1. From the OmniPCX Enterprise configuration window, select the Entities object.
2. Double click an entity number other than 0.
3. Double click the Entity Incoming State Hours object, to parameter the routing for
incoming calls.

6. Fill in the attributes.
Four change-overs are scheduled for each day. For each one, fill in the following attributes:
• Hour
Defines the hour for entity status change-over.
• Minute
Defines the minute for entity status change-over.
• Status
Defines the status of the entity. The status of the entity can be:
• Night
• Day
• Mode 1 (forwarding 1)
• Mode 2 (forwarding 2)
• Attendant Group (entity forwarding is the same as attendant group forwarding)
Forwarding numbers (night, day, mode 1 and mode 2) are defined at the time of
installation by the technician.
