1.1. SAP Fiori Launchpad Navigation Basics
SAP Fiori Launchpad is an easily accessible user experience system designed by SAP for ERP purposes.
Its main goal is to help users to create business application in a simple way.
This user manual aids the user in implementing the SAP Fiori Launchpad and to be familiar with it in order
to implement SAP business cycles. In this document, basic key definitions will be acknowledged by the
user, along with applying the necessary processes in a series of sequential steps. Each step represents
a certain action to be applied on the system.

1.1.1. Fiori Launchpad Home Page

You begin by opening the web link of the SAP Fiori Launchpad and sign in with your user. The Fiori
Launchpad home page appears, this home page is split into groups and tiles. A group, such as, document
management consists of tiles such as find document and more. Tiles are also known as Fiori applications;
in which they are used to embark on certain business cycles. In addition, the user profile icon on the top
right as shown includes all editing and maintaining criteria with respect to the Launchpad. The search bar
above can aid you in accessing any Fiori app that you want to use.
The following steps will illustrate the basic use of the Fiori Launchpad.

The recent activities option enables you to see the most recently used apps by this user. As for the frequent
activities option, it shows you the most utilized apps.

1.1.10. Accessing Groups
You can access the desired group from the home page as shown. Each group is represented as a header
for its inclusive apps. A side arrows appears on the right that comprises other groups that you can
access.

(1) Click on the arrow on the right to view other groups .

For example, the project logistics control group includes the Fiori apps related to project system’s
logistical cycles.

The project control management group includes the Fiori apps related to project system’s control and
finance cycles. You can then view its apps.

Fiori Launchpad’s settings are also essential if you want to maintain data to fulfill your needs.

The name of your user is shown. You can also navigate to the appearance icon.

You can track your activities on Fiori or you can uncheck the indicator to hide your app history. You can
also clear your history of used apps or activities.

You can edit your home page as you desire. By creating personal groups, removing them, and/or editing
them.
