Instructions:
i. Submission should be in a group of 4 students maximum and should be of the same section.
ii. The name and roll number of students should be mentioned on the first page of the assignment
iii. Rubrics should be attached for every student in a group
Methodology:
i. Gather required information for analysis of solar photovoltaic system design parameters.
ii. Calculate maximum demand, load factor, demand factor, unit/energy consumption in highest
demand month, critical load, non-critical load, etc,
iii. Determine the inverter capacity and battery size
iv. Select charge controller and solar module
v. Calculate the solar panel dimension
vi. Find other parameters such as the module mount location, structure, direction of solar module,
cable size, etc.
vii. Evaluate Payback, ROR, and B/C of the proposed design
viii. Attach the energy bill of the chosen load, data sheets, specifications, and cost of all selected
equipment such as the battery, inverter, charge controller, cable, structure, etc. from the market or
website
ix. Compare results from three different studies and show them in Table and graph format
