II. Participants: Selected Pupils of AECMIS

III. Rationale: The Department of Education (DepEd) launched the National Reading
Program and National Math Program to improve the literacy and numeracy of
learners as part of the implementation of MATATAG Curriculum: Batang
Makabansa, Bansang Makabata agenda.

IV. Highlights
July 21, 2023 – Orientation on National Reading and Math Program
The speakers discussed how the program will be implemented. The tools and
worksheets were also presented.
