PART TWO

My Guide to the Ultimate

Prompts
ChatGPT is an AI language model developed by OpenAI. It's capable of generating
human-like text based on the input it's given. This makes it a powerful tool for social
media content creation. You can use ChatGPT to generate engaging social media
posts, come up with content ideas, and even draft responses to comments or
messages. The more you use ChatGPT, the better it gets at understanding your brand
voice and producing content that aligns with it.

Creating the perfect prompt for ChatGPT is an art. After literally 1000’s of prompts
tried and tested by yours truly, I have come up with a 4 step plan for designing
KILLER prompts, every time.

Here it is:

STEP ONE: Give ChatGPT a role to play!

This helps set the context and guides the AI in its response. For example, you could
ask ChatGPT to act as an expert marketing strategist or a content creator. Remember,
ChatGPT is trained on lots and lots and looottttss of data. So when you ask it
something about social media, for example, it looks at ALL the social media
information it has….the information from the experts as well as the information from,
well, Barry down the street. By being specific about who you want ChatGPT to be, it
forces to algorithm to look at the right sort of information for the task at hand.

STEP TWO: Set the task!

Clearly state what you want ChatGPT to do. Be specific about the task to
ensure the AI understands your requirements.

For example:
Vague Prompt:
"ChatGPT, create some social media posts for my organic skincare line."

This prompt is vague because it doesn't provide enough information about

the business, the type of content needed, the platforms the content will be
used on, or the target audience. As a result, the AI might generate generic
content that doesn't effectively engage the business's audience or promote
its products or services. Lets improve it!

Specific Prompt:
ChatGPT, as an expert social media content creator and strategist,
generate a week's worth of post captions for my organic skincare business.
We're launching a new line of anti-aging products and want to promote
them on Instagram. The captions should highlight the natural ingredients,
benefits of the products, and align with our brand voice which is friendly,
informative, and empowering. If you need more information, feel free to
ask."

This prompt is specific because it clearly defines the role of the AI, the task,
the context (type of business, product launch), the platform (Instagram),
and the brand voice. It also invites the AI to ask for more information if
needed. This level of detail helps the AI generate content that is tailored to
your business's needs and audience.

STEP THREE: Provide context and constraints

Give enough background information to guide the AI. This could include
details about your business, your target audience, or your brand voice (see
examples above). Also, mention any constraints such as the format of the
output or any specific requirements you have.

STEP FOUR: Ask ChatGPT to ask you questions

Lastly, I always advise new users to end prompts by asking ChatGPT to ask
you questions (again, see example above). This encourages the AI to clarify
any ambiguities and ensures it has all the information it needs to complete
the task effectively, meaning less back and forth to get to the output you
need.

Now, let's put this into practice with some examples tailored for a scented

#1: Design a Complete Marketing Strategy

ChatGPT, as an expert marketing strategist for my scented candle

business, I need you to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy. Our
target audience is women aged 25-45 who value self-care, relaxation,
and home decor. We primarily sell online and at local craft fairs. Our
brand voice is warm, inviting, and a bit whimsical. The strategy should
include objectives, target market analysis, marketing channels (focus on
Instagram, Pinterest, and local craft fairs), content ideas, and a 6-month
timeline. Please consider our upcoming holiday-themed candle line in

#2: Create 30 Days of Social Media Content

relaxation, and quality in your suggestions. If you need more
information, feel free to ask.

❣️ Bonus: Create Instant Video from Text with CapCut

Plugin
If you haven’t already heard of them, ChatGPT plugins are additional
tools that can be integrated with ChatGPT to extend its capabilities.
Think of them like super cools apps. They can be accessed through
the OpenAI interface and are designed to enhance the functionality
of ChatGPT, allowing it to perform a wider range of tasks and interact
with other software and platforms. Yes, you can only access them if
you pay for ChatGPT+ ($20 USD a month), BUT once you pay,
ALLLLLLL the apps are totally free!

There are so many apps to play with. But one I want to introduce you
to today is CapCut. CapCut is a powerful video editing tool that can
be used to create engaging and professional-looking videos. The
CapCut plugin for ChatGPT allows you to generate video content
directly from the text you input into ChatGPT. This means you can
write a script or a narrative in ChatGPT, and the CapCut plugin will
transform that text into a video, complete with relevant visuals and
animations!! This is very cool! You can create entire YouTube
channels or months of Instagram reels almost instantly! Here’s a
prompt for you to try (make sure you have the CapCut plug-in
