Basics of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Machine Learning
Deep Learning
Deep Learning is the most advanced form of Artificial Intelligence out of these three. Deep learning is a special type
of machine learning that uses artificial neural networks. These networks learn from large amounts of data to
recognize patterns and make decisions. They're used in things like voice assistants, image recognition, and self-
driving cars. In Deep learning machines are intelligent enough to develop algorithms for themselves.
The Traditional algorithm is a set of step-by-step instructions for solving a particular problem. The behavior and
output of Teresa algorithms are predictable as they rely on explicit rules during the processing steps.
Machine learning algorithms is a set of algorithms that enable computers to learn patterns and make predictions or
make decisions without being explicitly programmed. These algorithms are designed to learn from data and
continuously improve their performance over time.
Introduction to AI domain
Data Science field uses scientific methods, processed algorithms, and systems to extract knowledge and insights
from many structure and unstructured data and applied it in AI applications. It is related to determining data mining,
machine learning and big data.
Big Data refers to a huge amount of data which is regularly going at an exponential rate. Big data cannot be
handled without AI.
Data Mining is a process of finding potential use patterns from a huge data set.
Machine Learning is a process of automatic learning of computers and machines by discovering insights
from data with experience.
Computer Vision Computer Vision refers to the training of computers to have a vision like humans so that
machines can accurately identify and classify objects and produce specific reactions using digital images and
videos.
National Language Processing (NLP) Natural language processing (NLP) is a form of AI that allows computers to
understand human language, whether it be written, spoken, or scribbled. It has two subcategories: -
1. Natural Language Understanding which helps machines to recognize natural speech and understand its
meaning and understand its meaning.
2. Natural language Generation helps in producing a response in natural language by a
virtual assistance.
AI Ethics
It is a set of values, principal and techniques that employ widely accepted standards of right and wrong to guide
moral conduct in the development and use of AI technology.
What is AI bias
It is an anomaly in the result produced through AI based programs because of prejudice and assumptions made in
algorithm during development process.
What is AI Fairness?
It is an assurance of fare outputs of an AI model by minimizing the impact and role of sensitive parameters for tasks
and situations prone to social discrimination.
The fake is a technology that can generate fake distil photo sound recording and video which look just as original as
possible.
The world of Artificial Intelligence revolves around Data. Proper and ethical handling of own data or user data is
called data privacy. Data privacy is crucial when using AI. Our personal data, collected by AI systems, must be
safeguarded from misuse or unauthorized access. Reading privacy policies, adjusting settings, and being mindful of
sharing personal information online are vital. Strong passwords and staying informed about data privacy issues also
help. While AI enhances our experiences, such as suggesting movies or providing quick information, understanding,
and protecting our privacy is essential. By taking these steps, we can enjoy the benefits of AI while ensuring our
personal information remains secure.
